Thermal power generation is developing rapidly at the present time,the scale of modern thermal power plants is larger and the technology is more and more intensive.This requires employees to quickly master practical skills and understand daily work content on the basis of solid professional knowledge.To ensure the security and stability of the routine assignment of the thermal power plant,carrying out relevant training and assessment for the employees is vital.However,the previous written learning and two-dimensional drawing demonstrate can no longer fulfil evolvement demands.This is a three-dimensional virtual simulation system for thermal power plant cultivating and recondition administration,and provides a more efficient and targeted operation learning platform for employees.Aiming at the current problems of training and maintenance management of thermal power plants in China,how to improve the operation accuracy of employees in thermal power plants,and how to make employees quickly master the daily work of thermal power plants,this paper develops a three-dimensional virtual simulation system for training and maintenance management of thermal power plants based on Untiy3d engine,mainly through 3DS MAX for three-dimensional modeling is carried out by 3DS MAX to establish the overall thermal power plant outer situations and major implements of generating electricity inside,and the model is optimized by using edge folding algorithm combined with static LOD technology and texture Optimization Technology;equipment animation and scene animation are made by 3DS MAX combined with Untiy3d engine to carry out three-dimensional virtual simulation of thermal power plant process,and relevant maintenance operations are simulated,the automatic scene roaming uses Hermite curve for pathfinding.Collision detection uses AABB bounding box collision detection axiom basing on spatial partition,realizes dynamic text annotation in three-dimensional space.Through the design of MySQL database and UI interface,the training and maintenance management functions are realized.Three-dimensional modeling combined with animation design and complete human-computer interaction function design makes the system more practical,flexible and efficient.This system can simulate the operation situation of all kinds of equipment,maintenance operation and other scenes in thermal power plant,so that the employees of thermal power plant can be familiar with the field equipment performance,maintenance operation as soon as possible,which has practical engineering significance in real thermal power plant training.
