Presently,the density of coastal fishing vessels and transport vessels is increasing.The main channels become more crowded due to the high number of shipping industry and the development of coastal fishing.However,the navigation situation and the water traffic safety situation has become more strict and complicated.The subsequent collision accidents between fishing boats and merchant ships have attracted wide attention.The vast majority of them are caused by ship equipment and ship condition.In order to protect the life and safety of fishermen and promote the high-quality development of shipping industry,the research in the field of “ship collision avoidance” is of great significance.Currently,the technical progress of ship borne equipment and safety protection is relatively outdated,which affects the safety of maritime navigation to a great extent.In addition,the decision-making of ship collision avoidance mainly depends on the experience of crew,which is unstable and uncertain.This study describes decision-making in the ship collision avoidance.Firstly,the principle of ship collision avoidance and decision-making process is clarified,and the knowledge of ship collision avoidance is analyzed.According to the different situations and responsibility of collision avoidance,the collision avoidance mode and decision-making are defined,the relevant motion parameters between ships are calculated,the safe distance of collision avoidance is determined followed by the collision avoidance rules,and the impact of collision avoidance measures on the encounter situation is analyzed.Secondly,the information of ship parameters is obtained by the automatic identification system,and the data is processed by the information processor to assist the collision avoidance decision-making system to guide the collision avoidance scheme.Furthermore,the ant colony algorithm,artificial fish swarm algorithm,genetic algorithm and other related algorithms of intelligent ship collision avoidance decision-making are compared.The genetic algorithm with outstanding intelligence and parallelism is selected,and the evolution of genetic algorithm is proposed as the research objective.Finally,the genetic process of the algorithm and the selection of related parameters are further analyzed to establish the corresponding decision model.Based on the procedure of collision avoidance realized by the algorithm,the simulation experiment of the encounter between ships was carried out.The probability of genetic correlation operation was optimized in the experiment,considering the objective function of the influence factors for avoidance route.The fitness model was established to select excellent chromosome for genetic analysis,and the optimal one was selected by steadily iteration.The obtained data show that the optimum route to avoid collision between vessels can be established.
