In recent years,biodegradable materials have developed rapidly in the field of implantable medical devices,and the concept of using biodegradable materials for sinus stents has emerged.The biodegradable stent can be automatically degraded after implantation in the diseased site and completing the treatment purpose,the patient does not need a second surgery to remove the stent.According to the investigation of relevant research progress at home and abroad,complete the design,optimization and verification of biodegradable sinus stents through the following research and experiments.(1)Based on the understanding of commonly used biodegradable polymer materials,combined with existing resources,select two suitable biodegradable polymer raw material wires,and conduct related mechanical tests on raw material samples.Combined with its degradation test results,raw materials with better comprehensive performance were selected for follow-up experimental research.(2)Determine the diameter of the stent based on the anatomy of the sinuses,complete the design of the flat developing drawing;develop the braiding process;complete the design of the stent braiding mold,and develop the heat treatment process.Establish a flat compression test method to test the support and recovery performance of the stent sample.(3)Optimization of stent structure and manufacturing process.The optimization content includes the adjustment of the diamond angle,the number of the layers and the adjustment of the heat treatment temperature.Among them,different molds are designed for different structural optimization schemes to complete the processing of samples.The verification of the optimized design requires separate mechanical performance tests on each sample,and comprehensive comparison of the test results.(4)Investigate the drug coating technology of stents,and discuss the application and development of drug coating technology in sinus stents.
