In order to cope with the rapidly growing traffic demand of 5G consumers,large-scale services and various vertical services in the future,network slicin g technology has become a very good solution.Using network slicing technology can change the traditional “one size fits all” architecture model of the traditional network,which can simultaneously accommodate and meet the needs of various specific business services.The power system that is developing towards intelligence has higher requirements on the wide coverage,ultra-low latency and ultra-high reliability of the network.5G network slicing provides the possibility of power communication scenarios with its highly diverse service adaptability and self-isolation.Although network slicing technology has been applied in various fields,there is currently a lack of research on the adaptability of network slicing in power systems.This paper focuses on the delay characteristics of power system services,and uses simulation software to obtain the delay of power system services under network slices to analyze the delay adaptability of network slices to carry power system services.First,the principle of network slicing technology and its resource allocation method are briefly outlined,and the delay index requirements of some representative services in the power system are analyzed.Using the characteristics of network slices to allocate resources on demand,a mathematical model of the end-to-end delay of the power system business is established,and the composition of each part and the probability density distribution are analyzed.Then,around a 10 KV substation within five kilometers,OPNET simulation software was used to build a communication network.Establish a power virtual network capable of transmitting multiple power system services at the same time,forming a power ’big’ slice.The delay magnitude and delay jitter of the power system business are simulated,and the probability density distribution of the service delay is analyzed.It is concluded that the network slicing technology is more suitable for transmitting power system services than the traditional network.Finally,for some switching,protection,remote control,scheduling,and video services that require high delay and jitter in the power system,a single-service power slice is established.The simulation simulates the delay size and delay jitter of various services under the single service power slice,indicating that compared to the power’big’ slice,using the single service power slice can better meet its delay and jitter requirements and is more suitable for transmission Such business.The research results of this topic provide a certain reference for the application of 5G network slicing technology in power system communication,and provide diversified ideas for the transmission methods of services in the power grid.
