Study On The Inheritance Of Suzhou Ancient City Color From The Perspective Of Color Geography

Urban color is the sum of "natural,artificial and social" material form and spiritual image color of a city [1].Urban color carries historical memory,conveys local culture,symbolizes national spirit,and reveals urban style.It not only plays an important role in the construction of urban material form,but also represents the main characteristics of urban development in different periods of time,so urban color is a dynamic evolution process.In the early stage of rapid urbanization in China,due to the impact of western culture on urban construction,China’s cities have gradually weakened or even lost the traditional style and color features in the process of cultural confrontation and integration between the East and the West.The "image lost,color variation,similar style,one side of a thousand cities" of cities has become the "urban disease" in the rapid development of urbanization,and the architectural color has become the "urban disease" in the rapid development of urbanization Color was once "assimilated,misaligned,abused" and chaos.Although this phenomenon has been curbed in recent years,the traditional urban culture has gradually disappeared in the context of globalization.The "color loss" of urban color has attracted great attention of the academic community and society.The research on urban color is also advancing to the extent and depth of specialization,socialization,nationalization and aesthetic regionalization.Suzhou,as a national historical and cultural city and an important node center city in the world urban agglomeration of the Yangtze River Delta,its urban construction features and development direction attract the world ’ Urban living samples.This research selects Suzhou as an example.Firstly,from the perspective of color geography,it "examines,combs and perfects" the geographical color characteristics of Suzhou’s historical cities.Based on the domestic and international color planning and design theoretical research of "protection and development",it integrates the content of contemporary urban color planning with the purpose of improving the color quality of urban features;secondly,from the time and space dimensions Starting from this,the author combs the changing characteristics of Suzhou residential color in different historical periods vertically,analyzes the main characteristics of Suzhou residential color horizontally,and studies the color composition characteristics of residential color in the spatial structure,so as to comprehensively grasp the evolution rhythm and future development trend of Suzhou urban color.Thirdly,based on the new era,from the perspective of building a modern Suzhou City of "science and technology,prosperity,beauty and high" Based on the analysis of Suzhou’s color structure,the chromatogram of "main color,auxiliary color and embellishment color" of Suzhou’s architecture,landscape and decoration is integrated to create the general spectrum of Suzhou’s urban color concept,and the recommended chromatogram of district color is put forward.Finally,the key areas of the city that need color control are planned and designed in point,line,surface and space systems to unify the color relationship of each region,coordinate the harmonious transition of new and old regional colors,and promote the integration and coordinated development of new and old cities.
