In the new era,China’s rail transit industry is developing rapidly,and more and more electric locomotives are put into production and operation,making continuous progress in railway electrification technology.With the rapid development of electrified railway,many problems have been brought about.Traction converter,as one of the most serious interference sources on electric locomotives,causes serious electromagnetic pollution to the environment,so it is necessary to study the electromagnetic compatibility of traction converter.Taking a certain type of traction converter of subway train as the research object,the simulation and test of the key electromagnetic compatibility technology of traction converter are deeply studied in this paper.Firstly,the research status of EMC key technology simulation of traction converter at home and abroad is introduced,and based on the EMC mechanism,the box shielding theory,box slot leakage theory,cable crosstalk theory and cable electromagnetic radiation theory are analyzed,which lays a theoretical foundation for the following simulation.Secondly,a simulation study was conducted on the shielding characteristics of the traction converter box,which was modeled according to the actual engineering converter box,and CST simulation software was used to simulate the passive shielding efficiency,active shielding efficiency and gap leakage of the box.The shielding effectiveness of different compartments is analyzed by comparing the simulation results with the standard.Subsequently,the gap modeling and simulation were carried out based on the electromagnetic deviation caused by gap leakage in the actual test,and the frequency band caused by gap leakage in the converter was analyzed.Then,the crosstalk and electromagnetic radiation of the traction converter cable are simulated.Crosstalk simulation mainly analyzes the change of the wiring mode of three-phase cable and the change of the voltage signal on the adjacent signal line when the three-phase cable is added with shielding layer.The radiation simulation mainly focuses on the three-phase output cable and the dc input cable,and analyzes the size and frequency band of the external radiation produced by them,and compares the electric field distribution and far-field radiation at several frequency points through the electromagnetic field cloud map.It provides a certain guiding significance for the subsequent design of electromagnetic compatibility of traction converter cables,and also has a certain reference value for the electromagnetic compatibility of box structure.Finally,the traction converter was tested for electromagnetic radiation emission.The annular antenna,logarithmic periodic antenna and double cone antenna were used to test the electromagnetic radiation in the range of 150 k Hz-1Ghz respectively.The results werecompared with the standard to determine whether the converter meets the factory requirements.
