As the all-solid-state advantages with compact,low noise and anti-vibration et al.,thermoelectric devices are employed for many applications,such as heating,cooling,power generation and energy harvesting.Based on the thermoelectric technology and modern wireless communication technology,a medical fluid temperature control system with the hardware and software is designed and realized using the commercial thermoelectric cooler(TEC).The hardware board combines Arduino microcontroller and the Wi Fi module to make control of the temperature.The software is design and realized by Visual Studio 2017 to monitor the temperature and control the performance of the whole system.All the work in this thesis could be divided into four parts as follows:(1)Based on the literature review and analysis,the design scheme of the system that using the TEC as the heat source is described.(2)Through investigating for the medical application,the requirements of the system are given for the hardware design and software design respectively.(3)For the hardware design,Arduino is selected as the microcontroller combining with the TEC driver with the analog PID circuitry.Meanwhile,a software for PC is designed and realized to communicate with the hardware through Wi Fi or the serial port for the temperature monitoring and control(4)An experimental test is executed for the whole system to demonstrate the design in this thesis.Test results show that all the functions are met the design requirements.The fluid temperature could be controlled and monitored,which has the potential to be applied in the hospital for the treatment.
