Thunder and lightning is a natural phenomenon,it can release a lot of energy,has a very strong destructive power,has been the safety and stability of the power system operation has a greater impact.According to incomplete statistics,power grid events caused by lightning strike account for the vast majority of all power grid events,and the routes of overhead power transmission lines in meizhou area are mostly high mountains and large mountains with complicated terrain,and the problem of line tripping caused by lightning strike is more prominent.According to the operation data,from 2016 to 2018,lightning strikes caused by tripping incidents of transmission lines of 35 k V and above in meizhou accounted for 92.26%,89.24% and 87.69%,respectively.With the increasing demand for power,the reliability of power supply in power system is increasing.Meizhou mountain area is located in a strong minefield,so it is very important to prevent and control the lightning damage in the power system,reduce the lightning tripping rate of the transmission lines,and ensure the safe and stable operation of the transmission lines.This paper first expounds meizhou mountains overall topography,climate conditions and lightning activity,statistical analysis of the overall operation of transmission lines of meizhou and general features of line lightning tripping in recent years,and then select three typical transmission lines(including two with erection of towers)as the focus of the analysis and research,respectively,to collect the three typical lines along the path,the climatic conditions,with lightning protection measures and the insulator,such as operation,detailed statistical analysis of the three transmission line lightning trip data;And on the three typical lines,respectively to carry out field investigation information,mainly measured the lightning strike point tower and the tower grounding resistance as well as the soil resistivity,and the line path towards,route geographical environment,soil,soil conditions,tower of landform,line insulation configuration,grounding device configuration,and now the lightning protection measures,and so on and so forth for site investigation.Through the research of meizhou mountain transmission line lightning protection measures,the problems existing in the current analysis of meizhou mountain topography and geomorphology,geological and meteorological conditions in meizhou,the overall impact of transmission lines for typical route 220 k lines to V may the article/rich she(with double towers erect),35 k V quarry line tower lightning tripping event has carried on the thorough analysis of the specific calculation,and find out the reason of the lightning disturbanceaccordingly: tower grounding resistance is not in conformity with the requirements,transmission line insulation coordination is not reasonable,lack of rationality circuit conductor phase sequence alignment,mountainous terrain affect line protection Angle,mountainous terrain of the shielding effect is not good.Finally,the paper combined with the actual situation of mountain area of meizhou transmission line,adopting comprehensive differentiation specific lightning protection measures: reduce the tower grounding resistance,equipped with lightning arrester(Shan Qi),reinforced insulation,the unbalanced insulation mode,set up wire,reducing protection Angle,erect coupling ground wire,and so on comprehensive prevention and control measures,and application results were obtained in the preliminary,guarantee the safe and stable operation of power system.
