The Formula Student Electric China(FSEC)is a miniature of the development of pure electric vehicles,It aims to cultivate the practical ability and teamwork ability of college students.The traditional VCU hardware is developed not based on the demand,and the software is programmed manually,so the stability of the hardware module is poor.In addition,the whole software and hardware development cycle is long.This article focuses on the software and hardware development of vehicle control unit(VCU)according to FSEC competition rules.The main research contents are as follows:Firstly,the vehicle control strategy is determined before the development of VCU,including VCU development process,VCU development demand analysis,VCU interface function and vehicle high-voltage power on and off control strategy.The design of hardware circuit is based on the analysis of hardware requirements,the determination of hardware interface parameters and the completion of hardware PCB circuit design.The V model development process is proposed to design the VCU software system.Secondly,according to the hardware interface parameters,this article designs the VCU hardware schematic and PCB(printed circuit board)hardware circuit.The application software(ASW)is designed by the method of model based design(MBD),and the runtime environment(RTE)and basic software(BSW)are designed by the way of manual programming.Finally,the article uses the model in the loop(MIL)to test the logic of the Simulink model,the results of MIL test shows that the output of the model meets the requirements of the vehicle design logic under the condition of any excitation input.Software in the loop(SIL)is used to test the consistency of model and software code.SIL test results show that Simulink model and automatically generated software code have the same consistency and meet the design requirements.Polyspace is used to test the automatically generated code,the test results show that the coverage of the software code can reach at 100%,which meets the design requirements.MBD modeling can not only test software early in software development,but also shorten software development cycle and improve development efficiency.
