As a new technology,BIM has been gradually expanded from the construction industry to municipal,transportation,water conservancy and other fields,and even the application of BIM in the design of large-scale bridges have achieved some results,in the construction of bridge erection,the practical application and research of BIM is relatively few.Due to the difficulties of construction,many special-shaped components and complex information,the efficient construction and effective construction process management of the half-through steel arch bridges are typical in bridge engineering.A half-through steel arch bridges(with a main span of 200 meters)was taken as engineering background.A finite element construction model of the whole bridge was established with Midas software.In addition,the erection methods of steel main girder and arch rib were compared from the aspects of structural stress,environmental adaptability,economy and construction difficulty.Finally,the dragging method was selected for the construction of steel girder,and the vertical rotation method was selected for the construction of steel box arch rib.According to the construction method,combined with the basic theory of BIM and the application of related software,the BIM family library of the core components in the erection of the main girder and arch rib of the half-through steel arch bridge was established,and the BIM model was classified in detail.Based on the visualization technology of BIM,the construction site of the background project was rationally planned,and the complex system-level model of digital erection of the steel main beam was established with the help of the BIM 4D construction progress simulation technology.Since Digital Twin technology can make digital model and physical world interactive feedback,real-time iterative optimization,and better serve the actual construction site.Thus,intelligent management and control of dragging construction of steel girders were designed by the digital twin technology.The key structure of the arch rib hinge in the process of vertical rotation construction was studied,and the nonlinear contact analysis of the vertical rotation hinge under the most unfavorable conditions was carried out by using Midas/Fea.The results show that the stress value of the vertical hinged shaft does not control the design,but the stress concentration at the joint of the upper and lower swing support plates and the hinged shaft should be considered.After reasonably optimizing the structure of the vertical hinge,the safety information management based on BIM was carried out,and with the help of BIM technology,the vertical hinge was manufactured with high precision and accurately positioned and installed.The construction quality management was studied with BIM.By comparing the traditional construction quality management methods of archiving in text form,the BIM model management of steel girder and arch rib manufacturing and installation was realized by using the advantages of BIM platform,such as sharing,diversity,economy and environmental protection.Using the reverse modeling scheme,the quality defects of suspender were tested by aligning the point cloud of solid object with the point cloud of BIM model object.Taking the detection of suspender quality defects as example,the intelligent management of suspender construction quality was designed by using Digital Twin technology.
