With the concept of returning to nature advocated by various design fields in response to demands,a series of design problems such as natural surface and excessive decoration have become increasingly prominent.As the primary physiological dwelling place and spiritual sustenance of modern people,modern living space is an important field to practice the concept of natural ecology,so the ecological research of modern living space is urgent.The thesis takes the ecological atmosphere of modern living space as the research object,and combines the characteristics and problems in the process of creating ecological atmosphere in interior,landscape and architectural design fields at home and abroad.By introducing the cultural concept and method of Chinese traditional landscape construction,the thesis constructs the theoretical framework and application practice of ecological image construction of modern living space from the perspective of overall thinking.Firstly,the thesis defines and summarizes the concept,basic features and development process of ecological image.It also discusses the comparison and analysis of ecological image concept and related design concept,and analyzes the application forms of natural elements in the construction of ecological image,and summarizes the characteristics of its modeling,color,material,texture and pattern in specific cases,so as to clarify the specific definition and design category of the concept of ecological image.Secondly,based on the analysis of the meaning of the eastern view of nature,the thesis explores the landscape design concepts and application methods of traditional Chinese landscape.Then quote to come in modern living space design,get finally,it comes to the following eight construction forms: endue natural culture,follow natural laws,collect natural charm,enter natural realm,convey natural verve,create natural fun,simulate natural form,and learn from natural objects.Thus,it is clear that the components of ecological image construction in the modern living space include color tone,natural form,natural symbol,material and texture,space and light and shadow.Through the feature comparison and tabular analysis of each category,the thesis provides reference and foundation for the later design practice.Finally,based on the above discussion and analysis of the concept of ecological image,it is introduced into the practical application of modern living space design.The design project focuses on the emotional needs and psychological needs of users,use natural material qualitative,advocate return uncut jade to return true,natural life style,pay attention to build natural atmosphere in modern living space.Then guide and call for people to form the right way of getting along with nature and healthy,slow pace life concept.
