With the continual increase of the denizen income level, and the public’s spiritual needs increase, museums have gradually become a place to meet the public’s spiritual and cultural needs and study. The museum environment space oriented to meet the fundamental exhibition functions can not meet the needs of residents who have a higher level of humanization in the space anymore when visiting the museum. To study and think about the real space experience of museum visitorss, and to manage and balance the relationship between the surroundings of the museum and the psychological and behavioral demands of the visitorss is a matter that requires to be worked out urgently. The theme of the research article is about museum surroundings through the theoretical perspective of environmental behavior relationship, and carries out research on the museum environmental space by using field investigation and questionnaire survey.Dissect and sort out the environmental space design elements in the current museum environmental space that affect the behaviors and psychologies of the visitors, and explore the strategies of the museum environmental space design which can improve the quality of the museum environmental space, attract visitorss and decrease the tiredness possibilities of the visitors in the museum space. The research background, purpose, significance, etc are elaborated on the first chapter. After summarizing the current state of museum environmental space research at home and abroad, this study comes up with the feasibility and importance of Environmental Behavior Relationship Theory in museum environmental space design. The second chapter gives detailed elaborations of museum-related identifications and explains the environmental behavior relationship theory. At the same time, this study explains the relationship between the environmental behavior and the design of museum environmental space, which is a good way to study the museum environmental space from the perspective of the environmental Behavior Relationship Theory that paves the basis. The third chapter analyzes and masters the behavior and psychological state of the visitors in the museum environment space and the relevant elements that have effects on the visitors’ s extroverted sensing of space through field research and questionnaire survey,so as to have a good knowledge of the needs of the visitors and the existing problems of museum space design.Chapter four, using the theoretical knowledge of Environmental Behavior Relationship to propose design strategies for the museum environmental space, that is,when designing the museum environmental space, the implantation of two design concepts, the observance of two principles, the application of five methods in museum environmental space. The optimization of details, the adoption of three exhibition design suggestions to solve the problems in the museum’s environmental space and improve the surroundings and layout of museum eventually.Chapter five, summarizes the experience and makes conclusions of museum environmental space design, and provides reference for future museum environmental space design. The full text explores the museum’s environmental space design from the design ideas of discovery, analysis and problem-solving.In order to improve the existing museum environmental space design conditions, and offer the visitorss a cozy museum surroundings which can meets the psychological and behavioral demands of them, thus decrease the tiredness degree of the visitors in the museum surroundings.Based on the background of the new epoch, the museum environment space is not only to meet the display, collection, and research of collections, but also to meet the visitors needs of the visitors, enhance the comfort of the museum environment space, and contribute to the better development of the museum industry in theoretical and technical aspects of our country.
