In recent years,asphalt concrete pavement has become the main type of highway surface in China due to its good mechanical properties,durability and driving comfort.However,with the increasing problem of heavy traffic and vehicle overload,many asphalt concrete pavement cracks,ruts,damage and other diseases,its operation safety is facing a severe test.Rutting,compared with other diseases,causes more damage to asphalt pavement,has a higher incidence and maintenance difficulty,and poses a direct threat to the safe operation of road transportation.In view of this problem,this paper starts from the factors affecting the anti-rutting performance of asphalt mixture,investigates the rutting disease of the asphalt pavement of liuqin expressway,and conducts the asphalt extraction test and screening test by drilling the core sample in a typical section to explore the causes of the rutting disease in this section.Based on the Marshall test,the mixing ratio design of asphalt mixture was carried out,and the influence of asphalt materials and gradation types on the anti-rutting performance of asphalt mixture was studied through the indoor rutting test,immersion Marshall test and freeze-thaw splitting test.Through the investigation and analysis of the rutting disease in the research section,it is found that the rutting disease in the lane is more serious than that in the overtaking lane,and the rutting deformation in the middle layer is relatively large.By measuring the gross volume density of the core samples at different rutting depths,it is found that the compaction deformation is one of the reasons leading to the rutting disease in the research section.Further screening test and asphalt extraction test were carried out on the core samples of sections with different rutting depths,and it was found that the asphalt content and gradation had a great influence on the development of rutting.Based on the mix proportion design of asphalt mixture,through indoor rutting test analysis in different types of asphalt materials,not at the same level with the anti-rutting performance of asphalt the effects,and analyzes the different temperature and loading effect on rutting resistance of asphalt mixture,showed that grading the thinner,the greater the load,the higher the temperature the anti-rutting performance of asphalt mixture is adverse.The influence of different gradation types on the water damage resistance of asphalt mixture was analyzed by water stability test,and the results showed that the water stability of asphalt mixture decreased with the increase of the maximum nominal particle size.From the point of view of anti-rutting management technology of asphalt pavement,this paper introduces the following four aspects: sunning water cooling treatment,setting up special climbing lanes,improving maintenance measures of asphalt pavement and establishing comprehensive management system,so as to further improve anti-rutting ability of asphalt pavement.
