With the decrease of UAV price,the improvement of performance and the development of communication control means,the penetration rate of civil UAV in all walks of life is greatly increased.Due to the characteristics of high mobility and flexible deployment of UAVs,unmanned aerial vehicles can be considered to replace the work in remote areas and dangerous operations,especially surveillance,aerial inspection and search,which is very effective for replacing human and manned aircraft.However,the UAV in the process of carrying out the task will produce a large communication control cost,especially for long-distance operation.This paper studies the dynamic service migration of multiple UAVs in patrol mission,which helps to reduce the cost and delay of communication connection.Since the control platform controls multiple UAVs independently,this paper only needs to discuss the dynamic service migration of one UAV in patrol mission.Due to the need for service migration with the change of UAV location,the uncertainty of node movement and the possible non-linear migration and transmission costs,it is a challenge to make such a strategy in an optimal way.Therefore,this paper first uses the slot model to discretize the whole process by using the position of the UAV at the same time and the position of the platform controlling the UAV at this time,and constructs a sequential decision-making process for service migration problem(MDP)based on Markov framework.In this paper,the function form of "constant + index" is introduced to concretize MDP The cost function,that is,the cost of communication between UAV and platform,and the cost of data migration between platforms,uses two-dimensional random walk model to simulate the movement of UAV.Finally,in the numerical simulation analysis,the optimal strategy in each state and the minimum cost of using strategy in different initial states are obtained by using strategy iteration algorithm.The optimal connection strategy of patrol UAV under fixed inspection task path is given.The conclusion of this paper has a positive significance in dynamic service migration control and reducing the cost of communication connection in the actual task scenario where multiple UAVs are required to work together.
