Research On The Application Of Chinese National Decorative Pattern Elements In The Style Of "Soviet Architecture" In The Early Period Of New China

In the early days of the People’s Republic of China,China and the Soviet Union signed the Sino-Soviet Treaty of Friendship,Alliance and Mutual Assistance,adopted a "one-sided" political and foreign policy,and learned from the successful experience of socialist construction in the Soviet Union.The construction of the whole country imitated the architectural planning model of the Soviet Union from urban planning concept to architectural design,providing new ideas for the initial urban planning in China.The architecture produced during the 1950 s and 1960 s,which borrowed from the Soviet architectural style and integrated Chinese traditional national culture,is called "Soviet architecture".Different from traditional Soviet architecture,"Soviet-style architecture" is a typical Soviet-style architectural form,while paying attention to absorbing Chinese traditional elements,inheriting Chinese traditional culture,drawing lessons from Chinese traditional national decorative patterns in architectural details and decoration,and integrating Soviet architectural style with Chinese national style to form a characteristic building with Chinese national form."Soviet-style architecture" belongs to the important cultural heritage of modern architecture.As a representative building in a period,it has high research value from the aspects of architectural structure layout,architectural decoration,historical and cultural background,etc.National decorative patterns,in terms of form,aesthetic characteristics and symbolic meaning,all represent the aesthetics of an era and reflect the unique Chinese traditional culture.In this paper,the interior and exterior decoration details of the building are summarized and studied,and the decorative techniques,evolution process and symbolic meaning of the patterns are studied.In a practical way,the traditional Chinese national decorative patterns are reflected from the plane to the three-dimensional space.First of all,collect the background information of "Soviet architecture" in the early days of the founding of the People’s Republic of China to understand the architectural characteristics of our country in this special period;Consult the relevant literature of Chinese traditional decorative pattern elements,understand the content,development history and research status of Chinese traditional decorative elements,and collect the same type of national style elements in the early days of the founding of the People’s Republic of China for classification.Secondly,by collecting similar architectural cases at home and abroad at the same time,we can understand the process of nationalization of Chinese architecture,and make a detailed analysis and summary of the application of national traditional decorative elements in the decorative features of various parts of architecture.Combining with the actual project of Wuhan Theater,seeking a new expression form of Chinese traditional decorative elements can meet the needs of the development of the times,inherit and carry forward the traditional culture,and have a better understanding of the combined application of Chinese traditional national decorative elements in architecture.Finally,the paper summarizes the expressions,modeling features and symbolic meanings of Chinese traditional decorative pattern elements,and finds out the spiritual essence of traditional culture,ideas,techniques and experiences that can be passed down and useful application methods,which can provide certain reference for future design needs.
