Multi-way valve plays an important role in the hydraulic transmission system of excavator,which has a key impact on the working function and stability of the whole excavator.The internal structure of the multi-channel valve port is the basic element to control the flow change of the valve port.The application of digital design technology to analyze the valve port area and the internal flow characteristics of the valve port is helpful to optimize the internal structure of the valve port and provide reference data for matching the excavator host.The internal structure of multi-channel valve body is very complex,which easily causes casting defects and affects the yield of valve body casting.The application of digital analysis software to analyze and study the casting process of valve body is helpful to improve the casting quality of valve body castings.In this paper,the relationship between the orifice area and the spool displacement of the 28 B hydraulically controlled proportional multi-way valve is analyzed and the mathematical model is established.The relationship between the orifice area of the throttle groove and the spool displacement of the valve is assembled into a special software for the 28 B multi-way valve by using MATLAB software to realize the digital calculation of the orifice area.The FLUENT software is used to simulate the flow characteristics of the rotary orifice of the multi-way valve under the actual working conditions,and the relationship between the variation of the flow velocity,the pressure and the turbulent kinetic energy of the orifice and the spool displacement is obtained.The flow characteristics of the orifice of the main orifice under the full stroke of the spool are analyzed,and the flow characteristics of the main orifice are visualized.The casting process system of the multi-way valve body was simulated by Pro CAST software,and the casting solidification process was visualized.Four sets of improvement schemes were obtained according to the basic structure of the original casting process system.The digital simulation of the four sets of improvement schemes was carried out,and the feasibility of the improvement scheme was analyzed.The casting defects in the original casting process of the valve body were solved,and the quality of the valve body castings was improved.
