The hydraulic reciprocating seal is a key component in the reciprocating mechanical system and plays an important role in ensuring the system’s safe and efficient work.During the actual operation of the hydraulic reciprocating seal,the friction between the sealing interfaces will cause continuous wear and tear of the sealing material.Abrasion is the most important form of damage to contact dynamic seals.It is the main factor that causes the failure of rubber seals and determines the service life of seals.During actual service,the wear and tear of hydraulic reciprocating seals is complicated,and there are many factors affecting the wear failure.It is difficult to judge the wear status of the seals in advance without disassembling the equipment.When leakage of the hydraulic cylinder is observed,the seals wear already serious.Use reasonable and effective methods to evaluate the wear status of seals during service,accurately determine the degree of seal wear,predict the working conditions of seals,and take effective maintenance measures in time to avoid sudden damage to seals,improve seal sealing performance,and extend service life and ensuring production safety are of great significance.This article takes the hydraulic reciprocating piston rod seal as the research object,monitors the wear state of the seal during service and makes an accurate assessment.The research work completed mainly includes the following aspects:(1)Establish a finite element model of a hydraulic reciprocating Y-shaped seal,and numerically solve the sealing performance of the seal based on the mixed lubrication theory,and explore the changes in parameters such as friction,contact stress,oil film thickness,and leakage under different degrees of wear of the seal regularity(2)Design a hydraulic reciprocating seal wear monitoring test,study and analyze the law of change of characteristic parameters under different wear degrees of the seal during service,verify the accuracy of the finite element simulation,and obtain characteristic information that can accurately reflect the wear of the seal;(3)Based on the wear monitoring characteristic parameter data of hydraulic reciprocating seals,establish a gray correlation model between the state to be identified and the wear failure mode based on gray target theory,and evaluate the wear status of the seal during service based on the bulls-eye degree.
