Relevance of this research is provided by increasing competition among airlines in the world aviation industry.Market requires new solutions and tools that ensure the airline’s position in the market and its development ability. Two of the most effective solutions to this problem are: to stimulate the utilization of aircraft and to reduce expenses for their operation;this will allow airlines to reduce their operational cost and establish a high competitive position in the market. For each individual product, the Maintenance,Repair and Overhaul(MRO)provisioning toolkit is different;therefore the standard package of services is not the optimal solution. In making up the list of after–sales support activities for the product(aircraft),it is important to consider its special features. And to provide such an individual approach to the aftersales product service,it is better to designate effectiveness indicators of its for operational stage at the beginning-during aircraft design stage. What has been said here determines the relevance of this work, the purpose of which is in improvement of the maintenance system by developing a methodology for maintenance, repair and overhaul based on Performance-Based Logistics(PBL)principles in an aircraft design project that can be applied to the industry. The contract system included in this maintenance methodology is referred to as Performance-Based Contracts(PBC).The principal difference of the new platform is the acquisition of aircraft with logistics services at a price determined by the readiness indicator based on downtime of the aircraft. This method will be proven to be more effective than the commonly used at present,in which the price is determined by the frequency and volume of work performed by the logistics service the nomenclature and quantity of spare parts and materials. The purpose set above is to be achieved by solving the following main tasks:(1)To explore and analyze the aircraft MRO system through its Life Cycle Management;(2)To study methods of the Life Cycle logistic support and to define ways of their practical and beneficial implementation for an airline using in aircraft MRO system;(3)To create a MRO methodology based on Performance Based Contracts with a way of its realization in airline to MRO–centers relationship. To evaluate the feasibility and determine the application of the principles of this integrated logistics support for aircraft operation in airlines,I do a thorough analysis of the mechanisms for the integration of participants, the composition of key indicators(indicators),a methodology for assessing their required and achieved values and methods for managing key indicators. To solve the set tasks, methods were used to assess the effectiveness of decisions made, including evaluating the economic effect, methods of financial management, economic analysis, evaluation and management of payment for performance-based logistics services. Methods used in this research are represented by economic models, such as: quality function deployment, work breakdown structure and overall equipment effectiveness. And these areas establish main issues for achieving maximum possible aircraft reliability.
