| Under the background of vigorously promoting the construction of ecological civilization throughout the country,what we can foresee is that the green space of park is bound to become an extremely important part of urban space.Parks play an irreplaceable positive role in urban environment and residents’ health.As we all know,bamboo has been used for thousands of years in China.Nowadays,in modern urban parks,bamboo is also the most common element for gardening.However,due to the lack of objective and scientific research guidance,most of the urban park’s bamboo-landscape has the problem of visual fragmentation,which can not provide a good recreational experience for urban residents.In this paper,the bamboo landscape of urban park which is in Chengdu city and Meishan city is taken as the research object,and the eye movement of the collected landscape samples is measured by using the visual tracking technology.The study explored the internal relationship and differences of eye movement measurement results between different bamboo landscapes,and compared the eye movement behavior differences between different genders and different majors backgrounds,and explained the feasibility of eye movement analysis in the study of bamboo landscape in urban parks.In addition,the experiment also uses the scenic beauty estimation method and environmental preference model to measure the subjective psychological changes caused by different bamboo landscapes,and eye movement indexes with significant correlation with aesthetic preference were screened out.Then,based on the pre-experiment,and according to the results of field research,combined with the relevant research of bamboo landscape construction,the paper classifies the elements of urban park bamboo landscape,and experts were invited to judge and grade each picture.Finally,based on the measurement results from the selected eye movement indexes,the paper analyzed and compared the visual attraction differences among different bamboo landscape elements,and obtains the key factors that have significant improvement effect on the bamboo landscapes in urban parks.Then,puts forward the construction strategies for the bamboo landscapes in urban parks.The main conclusions of the study are as follows:(1)There are significant differences in eye movement measurement results among different urban park’s bamboo landscapes.Eye movement analysis can produce good data feedback on this kind of landscape.At the same time,there are obvious internal rules and connections among the eye movement indexes,such as total fixation duration,fixation counts,and total saccade duration.These results accord with the physiological characteristics of each index,and confirm the feasibility of the application of eye movement analysis in the study of urban park bamboo landscape.(2)There is no significant difference in the overall eye movement measurement results of bamboo landscape in parks between different genders and different major backgrounds.However,some differences can be seen from the description of statistical results.Among the results,the total fixation duration of men is generally longer,while women have more fixation counts.Women are more spontaneous and interested in watching the landscapes,while men are more passive,need more time and a lot of information to mobilize attention.The fixation counts,total saccade duration,saccade counts,and average saccade duration of landscape professionals are higher,while the average fixation duration and first fixation duration of non-professionals are longer.(3)The eye movement indexes which have significant positive correlation with aesthetic preference are as follows: fixation counts(P=0.026)and first fixation duration(P=0.020).(4)The key factors that have a significant effect on the bamboo landscape in urban parks and their ranking are: bamboo type: monopodial bamboo>clumping bamboo>scattered bamboo;planting density of bamboo: sparse>dense>moderate;planting methods of bamboo: column planting > group planting > cluster planting > solitary planting >opposite planting;landscape spatial structure: plane type > line type > point type;landscape spatial type: completely closed>under forest open>fully open>semi open>top open;Gardening entity: stone > facility sketch > garden building > road > other vegetation > water >square > bamboo;landscape vision center: bamboo > gardening entity > other vegetation.In the classification of the sample photos,according to the results of eye movement comprehensive analysis,the bamboo landscape with high visual attraction has the following characteristics: it is mainly scattered bamboo,adopting the way of group planting,and the height of bamboo is generally ≥ 5m;the spatial structure and type are mostly plane type and completely closed;the vegetation life type is mostly bamboo-grass type;the viewing distance ≤1/2H(H is the vertical height of the space),and the visual center is bamboo. |
