With the contemplation of the contradiction between city edge space and National Park of China,the protection of National Park of China ignoring outside urban environmental impact around and city edge space can not share the urban landscape nowadays in China,the dissertation reexamined and diagnosed the boundary areas between the city space and the National Park of China through spatial dimension view,with the methods of visual landscape analysis and assessment.The boundary areas could be divided into macro level,meso level and micro level according to the visual perception scale.Basd on the analysis and assessment of different levels,the dissertation combined the scenic estimation method,semantic difference method,mathematical statistical analysis,GIS 3D analysis and space syntax to form the visual landscape control model to achieve dual goals.In the boundary areas between city space and National Park of China,the control model can not only shares the landscape resources among both of them,but also protect the urban landscape according to the city environment.The main content of the dissertation is about the discussion and researches on above issues from the aspect of analysis,evaluation and control methods.The visual landscape analysis includes the skyline analysis,the landscape visual corridor analysis,the landscape order analysis and the space scale of landscape analysis.The visual landscape assessment includes the visual landscape quality assessment and visual landscape impact assessment.The former is guided by psychophysics,using differe nt evaluation methodology to evaluate the scenic estimation and landscape characterist ics of the boundary areas,aiming to build a model between the relationship of the subjective feelings and the objective environment;the latter is to evaluate the visual compatibility and divide the compatibility levels of the newly-built projects in the boundary areas,mainly through GIS 3D analysis and experts' assessment method,in order to grade it and provide basis for policy-makings.At the stage of visual landscape control,the dissertation focused on the entire shape of the boundary areas between city and urban landscape,from the macro level to control the skyline,buildings' height and the visual corridor of landscape.The spatial layout of the boundary areas is discussed from the meso level,which included the layout of feature spots,paths and buildings.The dissertation also paid attention on the visual experience of the behavior subject walking along the boundary areas from the micro level,and chose typical areas in different geographic features to control the form of the open space and the buildings,in order to realize the transition from the natural landscape to the city edge space to improve the quality of the urban landscape.The innovations of the dissertation are as following:(1).A two-way visual landscape control concept based on the interaction between city space and National Park if China is put up,which would change the current research about controlling visual landscape only from the view of the landscape protection.(2).The visual landscape control methods of the boundary areas between city space and National Park of China is set up systematically.(3).The visual landscape control model of the boundary areas between city space and National Park of China is made,hoping to guide the planning.
