Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks(VANETs) are characterized by fast node movement,short connectivity time and frequent network topology changes.Although Vehicular Named Data Networking(VNDN),which is designed based on Named Data Networking(NDN),solves the dilemma arising from the application of traditional network architecture to VANETs,it brings new problems and challenges in data transmission for vehicle applications.This thesis addresses the issues and challenges of data transmission in VNDN.In this thesis,we propose a data transmission scheme for VNDNs,using RSU-based data transmission scheme to guarantee the real-time performance of non-safety-related contents under low vehicle density and blockchain technology to guarantee the reliability of safety-related contents transmission.The main research work of this thesis is summarized as.(1)An RSU-based data transmission scheme for VNDN is proposed.The scheme addresses the problem of high transmission latency due to link instability in low vehicle density scenarios by separating the interest packet request and packet transmission processes,so that the data requestor can use the cache based on the RSU location to complete subsequent data transmission.In addition,adding a road condition-based routing algorithm to the packet fetching process alleviates the additional computational overhead and network disruption caused by the described scheme under normal road conditions.Finally,a vehicle network simulation scenario is built using ndn SIM and compared with existing data transmission schemes to verify the effectiveness of the described scheme.(2)A data transmission scheme based on a two-layer federation chain architecture is proposed.The scheme addresses the lack of efficient security verification measures under the existing VNDN architecture,analyzes and studies the security requirements of data transmission under the VNDN architecture,constructs a two-layer federation chain framework,and uses a blockchain-based reputation management strategy to guarantee the security of data packet and interest packet transmission in the VNDN.Finally,the security analysis of the described scheme is carried out,and simulation experiments are designed based on Hyperledger Fabric to prove the effectiveness and feasibility of the described scheme.(3)A VNDN data transmission system is designed and implemented based on ndn SIM.The system builds a vehicle simulation scenario through ndn SIM,designs modules to realize active caching and on-chain reputation data management functions,realizes data transmission for non-security related content and security related content,and implements and demonstrates the data transmission system described in this thesis based on this system.
