With the development of computer technology,virtual reality has gradually penetrated and changed every industry field.Due to the complexity of power plant operations,there are higher requirements for the business proficiency of operators.Traditional training is mainly carried out by means of pictures and video presentations,and cannot be exposed to the actual production.There is still no clear understanding of the overall equipment layout of the power plant,and the training efficiency is low.Taking into account the above drawbacks,this article takes a power plant as an example,through the analysis of the development and application of various technologies,proposes to combine virtual reality technology with pre-job training and other ideas,and designs a virtual power plant roaming system based on VR.Generate highly realistic and immersive 3D virtual scenes,and perform panoramic roaming and interaction of virtual power plant workshops through HTC Vive equipment,making users feel as if they are in a real power plant environment,effectively solving the shortcomings of traditional training and improving corporate efficiency.The research work of this article mainly includes the following five aspects:(1)Through investigation and analysis,the research direction and overall structure of the system are determined,including the selection of system software and hardware technology,demand analysis and development process.(2)Using octree scene division method and LOD(Levels of Detail)level of detail model technology,save storage space,accelerate rendering speed,and realize rapid visualization of large-scale power plant scenes.(3)Introduce artificial intelligence into the collision detection of the three-dimensional model,create the OBB(Oriented Bounding Box)bounding box of the model object,and use the particle swarm search algorithm to quickly find the collision object pair to improve the collision detection efficiency.(4)Based on the Open Scene Graph three-dimensional engine,using C++ as the development language to design and render the virtual power plant scene.(5)With the help of HTC Vive equipment,the virtual power plant can realize all-round autonomous roaming and teleporting roaming,and realize functions such as picking up equipment models through the control handle.The virtual power plant roaming system based on VR researched in this paper effectively solves the shortcomings of the traditional training lack of sense of space,realizes the leap from two-dimensional images to three-dimensional virtual simulation systems,and improves the quality and efficiency of training. |
