The subway is one of the most important means of transportation in modern society.Only under the premise of safe and stable operation,the subway can provide high-load and high-frequency passenger travel services.The subway is a complex system composed of multiple parts.The failure of any part will affect the safe and stable operation of the whole vehicle.Therefore,effective monitoring of these parts is a prerequisite to ensure the safety of the subway.Rolling bearings are important parts responsible for reducing friction in the running department of subway trains,and failure of which happen frequently.On-line real-time monitoring of the running status of the rolling bearing can diagnose the health status of the rolling bearing under the working condition,which can ensure the safe and stable operation of the train.In this thesis,through an in-depth study of the online fault diagnosis methods of train rolling bearings proposed by previous researchers,it is found that the proposed methods can’t effectively solve the problem of its deployment on the subway embedded platform.Thus this thesis proposes and designs a vehicular diagnostic instrument of train running gear on embedded platform to solve this problem.Through in-depth analysis of the actual needs of the OEM users,the software design requirements of the vehicular diagnostic instrument of train running gear are proposed,and the overall software system of the vehicular diagnostics instrument of the train running gear and various functional sub-module systems are built according to these requirements.The algorithm combines empirical mode decomposition and resonance demodulation technology.In order to achieve efficient and rapid deployment of vehicular diagnostic instrument of train running gear,it is developed by using MATLAB +LabVIEW hybrid programming in the early stage and LabVIEW embedded programming in the later stage.Afterwards,the specific realization of each module is explained,which include data acquisition module,time domain index calculation module,automatic fault diagnosis module,fault characteristic frequency calculation module and waveform display module.Finally,the experiment environment was built to test the software of the vehicular diagnostic instrument of train running gear,and the bearing fault diagnosis and alarm function of which is realized in a complex environment,and the vehicular diagnostic instrument of train running gear can monitor the running status of the bearing in real time with high accuracy and reliable performance.
