With the development of 5G and other wireless communication technologies,the construction of smart cities has become an important area of technological development.As one of the important components of smart cities,Intelligent Transport System(ITS)has emerged.In ITS,the vehicle ad-hoc network(VANET)is a network that consists of vehicles,infrastructure and wireless communication protocols which can provide various types of services for vehicles,and the vehicle in VANET can act as the sender,receiver and forwarder of data content.In VANET,the intermittent disconnection of network link leads to the disconnection of the communication link between end-to-end nodes.As one of the most representative solution in the future Internet architecture,the Named Data Networking(NDN)is retrieved by the name of the data content,rather than the location of the host.NDN has features such as decoupling content exchange and host location,name resolution,and internal network caching,and these features have certain advantages for solving the above problems.However,in the NDN-based VANET network environment(V-NDN),the communication link is unstable due to the high mobility of vehicles,which destroys the NDN coupling routing mechanism and affects data sending and receiving process is proceeding normally.Therefore,how to effectively and efficiently implement data transmission and delivery in the V-NDN network is an important direction of current research.In view of this,the article studies how to realize the data transmission and reception of mobile vehicles in V-NDN,the main works are as follows:First of all,the relevant introduction and routing strategies of VANET are given.The principles and characteristics of NDN,packet types,data structure of NDN node,routing and forwarding are explained.The research status of NDN-based VANET at the current stage are introduced.A data forwarding method based on vehicle tracking is proposed.In this method proposes a tabu node search(TNS)algorithm,which can effectively track the target node and achieve more timely data packet return.And use the quick handover method(QHM)to provide high-efficiency handover during the return process of the data packet to alleviate the impact of the ping-pong handover problem.Through simulation experiments,it is concluded that this method has lower average delay,lower handover delay and higher data packet delivery rate,compared with other types of mobile support methods.A data forwarding method based on the assistance of Roadside Unit(RSU)is proposed.This method performs regional management on RSUs arranged in urban road scenes,and each region sets a control router for management and data distribution,and then uses the cooperation of regional RSUs to realize data transmission and reception.This method modifies the table structure of the NDN node,adds corresponding data packets,and describes the data request process and the data delivery process in detail.It is verified by experiment that this method has better effect in reducing the average data transmission delay and increasing the successful delivery rate.
