As a passive vibration suppression technology,nonlinear vibration reduction and isolation has high application value in rotor system vibration control.The current outstanding problem is that the structure of the nonlinear device is too complicated.In order to simplify the device while achieving high-performance vibration suppression,this paper introduces an elastic element with nonlinear stiffness,a canted coil spring,and proposes a non-linear vibration absorber based on a canted coil spring.The linear vibration isolators have also studied the vibration suppression mechanism of the two in a single degree of freedom system,and evaluated their vibration suppression performance.The main research contents are as follows:(1)The eccentric stiffness theory of canted coil springs is deduced.Firstly,a method for calculating the eccentric stiffness of the canted coil spring is established by combining the spring’s segmented mechanical model and the parametric mathematical model,which is verified by finite element simulation and stiffness test;secondly,the eccentric stiffness curve is determined by defining the nonlinearity index Based on the analysis of the parameters,the design suggestions for canted coil springs for vibration reduction and isolation are given based on the analysis conclusion.(2)The nonlinear energy vibration absorber with canted coil spring is studied.Firstly,the single-degree-of-freedom system with canted coil spring vibration absorber is solved by the semi-analytical technology combining the complex variable method and the multi-scale method,and its slow invariant manifold is derived and the mechanism of the vibration absorber is analyzed on the slow time scale;Through the algebraic performance measurement indicators,pumping time and energy dissipation,the effect of the stiffness parameters of the canted coil spring on the vibration absorption performance is quickly evaluated;finally,the vibration absorption of the designed canted coil spring is performed on the fast and slow time scales through numerical simulation.The device was verified.(3)The nonlinear vibration isolator with canted coil spring is studied.Firstly,the averaging method is used to solve the single-degree-of-freedom canted coil spring vibration isolation system on the linear base;secondly,from the perspective of the vibration power flow,the formulated vibration isolation performance indicators,input power,average transmission power,and power transmission are given.And compared with the force transmission rate.Studies have found that a vibration isolator with a canted coil spring can reduce the power transmission ratio and suppress the peak of the input power flow and force transmission rate.
