Permanent magnet synchronous motors have outstanding advantages such as high power density,large torque density,and high efficiency.Based on the actual driving needs of electric vehicles,this paper determines the performance indicators of permanent magnet synchronous motors for electric vehicle driving,establishes a simulation model,and optimizes the design of a wide speed range permanent magnet synchronous motor for electric vehicle driving.Study and analyze the actual working conditions of electric vehicles to determine the performance parameter requirements of their driving motors.Based on theoretical calculations and actual needs,the type,power,torque,speed,and efficiency parameters of the drive motor are designed.Investigate the parameters that affect the speed regulation characteristics of permanent magnet synchronous motors,and study the effects of the relationship between the three values of the permanent magnet flux linkage,inductance,and stator current on the motor speed regulation range;Design of winding,stator and rotor structure.The preliminary design compares and analyzes three types of permanent magnet motors with different topologies,compares and analyzes the performance differences of the three types of motors,and determines the permanent magnet topology of the permanent magnet synchronous motors with a wide speed range.The orthogonal test optimization method is used to optimize the design of the permanent magnet synchronous motor.The orthogonal experiment matrix is used to determine the grouping of simulation experiments.The effects of various parameters and parameter changes on the peak torque,torque ripple and salient pole ratio of the drive motor are studied.The parameter combinations with wide motor speed range and optimal motor torque performance are determined.And analyze the loss and efficiency of the motor under the optimal solution of this group.Based on the final optimized design results,a prototype is made and relevant experimental analysis is performed to further verify the performance of the permanent magnet synchronous motor designed in this paper.
