A Study On Risk Management In The Process Of Internationalization Of Chinese Household Appliance Enterprises

Under the background of economic globalization,in order to expand their living space and gain more profits,Chinese household appliance enterprises are actively exploring the road of international operation.Compared with the domestic environment,the international environment is more complex and unpredictable,and political risk,legal risk,financial risk,settlement risk and foreign exchange risk are too important to be ignored.Understanding the characteristics and rules of risk occurrence,mastering the scientific process of risk management,combining the specific risks in each stage of internationalization and the characteristics of enterprises,to effectively manage the risks,is the valuable experience summarized in the practice of internationalization of home appliance enterprises in China.Effective risk management has gradually become a key factor for successful internationalization of enterprises.Only by correctly facing and managing the risks in the process of internationalization,Chinese household appliance enterprises can win a place in the fierce international market and achieve the goal of internationalization operation smoothly.This paper firstly describes the historical background of this study,comprehensively reviews the latest research theories of experts and scholars,and pursues the relevant theoretical support of internationalization and risk management as well as the basic process of risk management.Then,the paper analyzes the current situation of internationalization and risk management of home appliance enterprises in China.Then,it defines each stage of the internationalization process of home appliance enterprises: export agent stage,direct export stage,overseas direct production stage,and analyzes and summarizes the risks faced by each stage.Then,with the outstanding international operation of Chinese home appliance enterprises-Haier company as an example,the analysis summarizes the successful experience of risk management in the process of its internationalization,after the draw general risk in the process of our home appliances enterprises internationalization management experience and mode,successful experience in a limited range of individual enterprise to reasonable promotion,provide reference for other similar enterprises.The results show that when Chinese household appliance enterprises explore internationalization,they can directly enter a certain stage according to their own actual situation,instead of going through all the experience step by step.The emphasis of risk management in different stages should be adjusted accordingly.When selecting risk management countermeasures,enterprises should strengthen the pertinence of risk response strategies and adopt risk management strategies flexibly.When dealing with the risks in the process of internationalization,household appliance enterprises should follow the basic process of risk management and respect the basic rules of development.According to their own strength and organizational characteristics,enterprises should comprehensively consider the cost of risk management and other factors,and choose whether to establish a special risk management organization.But risk awareness and risk management are essential,whether or not a specialized agency is established;Risk management in the internationalization of the haier company,only to a certain extent,to our country home appliance enterprise internationalization road risk control has significance,because of the complexities in real life.the company’s situation is not entirely the same,other home appliance enterprises that want to internationalize should take a cautious attitude when learning from haier’s successful experience and should not copy it blindly.
