Research On The Influence Of Internationalization Degree Of Household Appliance Enterprises On Their Technological Innovation

Nowadays,with the rapid development and deepening of economic globalization,enterprises from all over the world have joined the process of economic integration,trying to seize the opportunity of development and squeeze into the international market.Internationalization is both an opportunity and a challenge for enterprises,and it is inevitable to face severe challenges while obtaining broad markets and abundant resources.The goal of enterprises is to seek long-term development in the competition.Formulating the strategy of scientific and technological innovation is the secret weapon to achieve this goal.So how does Chinese transnational household appliance enterprises perform in the process of internationalization and how does the degree of internationalization affect the technological innovation of enterprises,have become a hot problem for domestic household appliance enterprise to carry out internationalization.Therefore,this paper analyzes and studies the home appliance enterprises with strong international strength in China,and for other enterprises,it can guide them to carry out international operation better.Through combing and analyzing the relevant literature,it can be found that there are relatively few researches on internationalization and technological innovation of household appliance enterprises in China,and even the existing literature has not reached a consistent conclusion.The paper chooses GREE electric appliances as a case to conduct an in-depth analysis,and conducts an in-depth study on how its degree of internationalization affects technological innovation and the interaction between them.Firstly,this paper analyzes relevant theories and literature.Then,the course of internationalization and the motivation of internationalization of GREE Electric Appliance are combed,and the positive influence of its internationalization on technological innovation through the reverse technology spillover effect and the human capital flow effect and the competition effect,as well as the innovation effect of GREE internationalization.Subsequently,using the financial data of GREE Electric since 2001,the linear regression model between GREE technological innovation and the degree of internationalization is established from the two angles of innovation input and innovation output,with the help of regression results,the model is tested to further optimize the model,and finally the change relationship between internationalization and enterprise technological innovation is obtained.The empirical results show that there is an inverted “U-shaped” relationship between the internationalization and innovation investment.Before the degree of internationalization reaches the critical value,the higher the degree of internationalization,the more innovation investment of enterprises;when the degree of internationalization exceeds the critical value,the higher the degree of internationalization,the less innovation investment of enterprises.In addition,there is an inverted “U-shaped” relationship between the internationalization and innovation output.When the degree of internationalization reaches the critical value,the higher the degree of internationalization,the more innovation output of enterprises;when the degree of internationalization exceeds the critical value,the higher the degree of internationalization,the less innovation output of enterprises.Finally,combined with the conclusion of this paper,the corresponding policy suggestions are put forward from the two levels of enterprise and government.From the enterprise level,our country household appliance enterprise should choose the suitable internationalization strategy to expand its overseas market,instead of blindly expanding,must synthesize the enterprise's own consideration;actively trains the research and development talented person,pays attention to the enterprise technological innovation ability enhancement;positively transforms and upgrades,creates the independent brand.From the country level,the government should encourage,guide and support the household appliance enterprise to “ go out ”.The innovation point of this paper is to study individual enterprises by using case analysis combine with empirical analysis,and to examine the influence of the internationalization of enterprises on technological innovation from the two dimensions of innovation input and output,and to study the relationship between enterprise internationalization and technological innovation from a relatively new perspective,thus deepening the understanding of the technological innovation mechanism that internationalization affects enterprises.
