Study On The Present And Quality Improvement Of Community Horticultural Activities In Changsha

In this paper,18 selected communities in Changsha are selected as the research objects.Through questionnaire survey,field visit and other forms,the development status of community horticultural activities is studied.Some attempts and cases made in the practice of community farms at home and abroad are comprehensively analyzed.The successful experience of foreign countries is used for reference.Based on the information obtained from questionnaire survey and field visit,the residents’ community horticultural activities are analyzed The attitude,existing problems,favorite plant types,community types and so on,we come to the following conclusions:(1)Community gardening is part of urban agriculture.Gardening in the community is not a special case.In Germany,Britain,Japan,the United States,Russia and so on,a series of measures are taken to satisfy the citizens’ planting wishes,such as distributing land to the citizens,legislating,setting up organizations,establishing community farms,and citizens’ farms.The scope of community horticulture is expanding,and the types of activities are becoming more and more abundant.Community horticulture can expand from planting and harvesting food in the community at the beginning to multi-party cooperation to form industrial links and promote the integration of urban and rural areas.With the development of theory,the definition of urban agriculture is becoming more and more clear,and its functions are becoming more and more diversified.(2)Based on the field survey and questionnaire survey of 18 selected communities,it is found that Changsha residents have a strong desire to carry out horticultural activities in the community.According to the type of community,different levels of management,different levels of horticultural activities.Due to the residents’ spontaneous horticultural activities and lack of management,there are many problems in community horticultural activities.For example,due to the lack of land for horticultural activities,some residents will occupy public land and plant in the green pool or green belt,which will cause conflicts with the management.The potted plants will be placed in the aisle,which will affect the travel.Some residents have poor planting technology,resulting in plant death Clean up in time,affect the community environment,use artificial feces when planting,produce peculiar smell.(3)Based on the successful experience at home and abroad,taking Xianghua community of Changsha City as an example,this paper puts forward substantive improvement suggestions: the community should guide the residents to participate in the community horticultural activities correctly,establish horticultural organization association in the community,solve the residents’ problems in time;actively organize community horticultural activities,hold horticultural lectures and exchange fair regularly,enrich the community horticultural activities,and promote the neighborhood Exchange;divide the idle space of the community into residents for horticultural activities to meet the residents’ wishes for horticultural activities;hire an expert team to carry out technical training for residents,improve professional knowledge and skills,and carry out community planning.
