| Air pollution in China is an important reason for affecting indoor air quality.Whether it is residential or public commercial buildings,in order to effectively solve this problem,large capacity air purifiers have gradually attracted people’s attention.This study summarizes the national standards,uses GB method to measure the CADR and CCM of the large capacity air purifier,and discusses the limitations of the current national standard.The filtration performance of five different structural filters was tested,the physical parameters of the filter structure were disassembled and recorded,the influence of the filter structure and the dust source on the filtration performance was analyzed,and the CFD simulation of the filter flow field was carried out to test and evaluate the large purifier.Suggestions are given on test,evaluation,dust source selection and production guidance of large-scale purifiers.In order to minimize the change of GB,it is recommended to keep the smoke concentration and the size of the environmental chamber unchanged,change the sampling time,and measure CADR in combination with the final value of the particle concentration attenuation in Japan and South Korea.It is suggested to use a smaller cabin for CCM experiment,and CCM rating recommendations for large air purifiers were proposed.For the air purifier with HEPA-activated carbon combined filter element,combined with the filter weight,the new evaluation indexes CADR_m and CCM_m are proposed to comprehensively consider the removal performance of particles and gaseous pollutants.In the case that the lifespan of the two is not uniform,it is recommended that users have to be targeted when purchasing an air purifier.Then,combine the appropriate ventilation strategies to maximize the value of the air purifier.For combined filters,when HEPA is consistent,the resistance is positively correlated with the activated carbon content,but the level of HEPA itself has a higher effect on resistance than activated carbon.Combining the parameters of energy consumption,filtration area,resistance and air volume,a new index Y is proposed to evaluate the dust holding performance of the filter.Under certain conditions,the cylinder filter has obvious advantages in dust holding performance compared with the plate one.Multiple cylinder purifiers can be designed.Combined with China’s national conditions and particle size analysis,it is recommended to use KCl as a dust source for air purifier and filter performance testing,which can relate the environmental chamber method to the straight-through method and ensure the health of the experiment personnel. |
