| Over the past years,the rehabilitation aids products such as orthopedic instruments attracts an increasing attention from the society affected by the severe aging of population and the vast disabilities groups in China.However,the traditional handicraft is characterized in relatively major limitations in manufacturing customized orthopedic instruments.Meanwhile,3D printing technology has developed obvious technical advantages and broad application prospects in manufacturing customized orthopedic instruments relying on its fast and flexible features as it advances continuously.This paper pitches in with User Centered Design,and aims at discovering problems faced by patients in wearing orthopedic instruments and pain spots suffered by medical staff in treatment and nursing works by adopting research methods such as observation,questionnaire survey and interviews,so as to summarize and then analyze users’ demands for the comfort,aesthetics and intelligence of orthopedic instruments.Moreover,it analyzes from the features of various 3D printing molding crafts and characteristics of printing materials to conclude the applicability of different printing crafts and materials in designing customized orthopedic instruments.Meanwhile,it researches on the feasibility of manufacturing flexible sensor and apply it to the design of orthopedic instruments with3 D printing technology.Last but not least,it analyzes various elements such as function,structure,and appearance of orthopedic instruments design and influence of 3D printing technology on orthopedic instruments design.So that solutions and design ideas are proposed on the basis of users’ demands for orthopedic instruments,as well as the design process of customized orthopedic instruments manufactured based on 3D printing technology.In addition,keen-joint orthopedic instruments are taken as an example in the design practices,in accordance with the design process of customized orthopedic instruments based on users’ demands and the applicability of printing technology and materials,as well as design ideas for each element obtained from the above-mentioned research,and combining features of knee-joint groups using orthopedic instruments and the application in actual rehabilitation process.Meanwhile,APP interface compatible with the intelligent function of knee-joint orthopedic instruments is designed.During the design,it has improved the comfort and aesthetics of orthopedic instruments,integrated intelligent functions and cooperates with the relatively good product interaction interface,which has embodied emotional cares for the disabled,improved the rehabilitation experience and favored the improvement of treatment effects. |
