| The particularity of semiotics relies on the ability of symbols to convey meaning,the connection between the forms and meanings of symbols,the ability to convey specific information to the public,and to help people communicate information and recognize things.At the same time,the exhibition space design is responsible for spreading the cultural value of the exhibits and meeting the emotional needs of the audience.Therefore,the analysis and research of the transmission method of symbols and the extraction and expression of symbols and their use in space are not only conducive to the in-depth expression of cultural values for the car exhibition space,but also conducive to the in-depth interpretation and emotional recognition of the space and exhibits by the audience.Through the analysis of the uniqueness of semiotic theory and the design requirements of the exhibition space,it is concluded that the car exhibition space constructed under the semiotic theory has research value and innovation.This writing is based on semiotic theory as the research basis,taking the Audi car brand as an example,and systematically researching on the car exhibition space.Through the combination of theoretical research and design practice,the expression methods and design principles of symbols in the car exhibition space are explored.First,through literature review,field research,questionnaires and cross-disciplinary research,it discusses the types and development of exhibition spaces.Semiotics-related theories and developments,and analyzes the application of semiotics in exhibition spaces at this stage and summarises the design law of semiotics theory in automobile exhibition space.Secondly,taking the way of symbol transmission as the design idea,we combine the car exhibition space on its basis to innovate,at the same time,based on Pierce’s theory of thirds in his semiotic research,according to the relationship between the symbol and the object,from Image symbols,logo symbols,and symbolic symbols analysed the semiotic characteristics in the Audi car exhibition space,and provide analysis ideas for the application of semiotics in the car exhibition space.From this,we can draw the conclusion that the car exhibition space is under the semiotic theory for design ideas and design principles.Finally,taking the virtual project,the Audi exhibition space as the design practice,through design background,location analysis,design positioning,project planning and symbol analysis in the space,the application of semiotics theory in automobile exhibition space is comprehensively explained. |
