| In recent years,all kinds of traffic accidents and disputes caused by the emotional problems of bus drivers have appeared all over the country for many times.With the development of society,these problems continue to emerge,which has sounded an alarm for road safety.As one of the travel choices of most residents,the emotional management of bus drivers is closely related to people’s life relevant.The study of such problems can effectively find solutions to road safety problems,which is particularly important for the public policy mechanism of the country to better implement the responsibility of serving the people,actively deal with problems and prevent problems from happening again.This study mainly studies the emotion management ability of bus drivers,which mainly includes four aspects.Firstly,it constructs the theoretical dimension of the emotion management ability of bus drivers,compiles the emotion management ability scale suitable for bus drivers,and determines the final questionnaire through project analysis,exploratory factor analysis,confirmatory factor analysis and reliability and validity test,To prepare for the follow-up research;second,through the self-made questionnaire to investigate the current situation of bus driver’s emotion management ability,to understand the differences in different demographic variables;third,through the relevant research to identify three variables that may have a relationship with bus driver’s emotion management ability: mental health,self-esteem,social support,to explore its impact on bus driver’s emotion management Fourthly,through the interview method,the quantitative research is tested and verified to increase its theoretical and practical significance,and more reliable suggestions are put forward for the cultivation of bus driver’s emotion management ability.The conclusions of this study are as follows:First,the developed "bus driver emotion management ability scale" has good reliability and validity,meets the psychometric standards,and can be prepared for the follow-up research.The scale includes 22 items and 4 dimensions,which are emotion cognition ability,emotion regulation ability,emotion expression ability and emotion promotion ability.Second,the emotional management ability of bus drivers is in the middle level.There is a critical gender difference in demographic variables,there are significant differences in age and registered residence dimensions.There is no significant difference in the relationship between marital status and marital status.Thirdly,there is a chain mediating effect among bus drivers’ emotion management ability,self-esteem,mental health and social support.Social support is the independent variable,self-esteem and mental health are the mediating variables,and emotion management ability is the dependent variable.Social support can indirectly affect emotion management ability through self-esteem and mental health.Fourthly,the interview results support the quantitative results.Better social support,self-esteem and mental health can promote the improvement of bus drivers’ emotion management ability.To sum up,the developed "bus driver emotion management ability scale" can be used for follow-up research.The current situation of bus driver’s emotion management ability is in the upper middle level.Among them,newly employed bus drivers and bus drivers with rural household registration need to pay more attention to the improvement of emotion control ability.The level of social support,self-esteem and mental health have great influence on bus drivers Therefore,the relevant departments should pay more attention to the social support for bus drivers,give reasonable help,respect the personality of bus drivers,and call on the public to respect the profession of bus drivers,so as to improve the emotional management ability of bus drivers. |
