Residential distribution in northern villages and towns is scattered,and the uneven load distribution makes it difficult to implement central heating in northern villages and towns.As a clean energy heating method,electric heating has been vigorously promoted by our country,so the relevant "coal-to-electricity" electricity price subsidy policies have also been issued by governments in cold regions.However,air-conditioning is the most general method of electric heating among residents in villages and towns,which can generate the high electricity bills,making the residents don’t use or use it only in extremely cold environments.By making full use of the peak-valley time-of-use price policy,thermal storage electric heating stores heat at night and releases heat during the day,shifting peaks and fills valleys for Power grid while saving corresponding operating costs for residents.Therefore,in light of the characteristics of different regions,this article explores the suitability of thermal storage electric heaters in combination with local electric heating policies in villages and towns,which is of great significance to solve the heating problems of villages and towns in cold regions.Firstly,this article analyzes the heating demand and heating status of villages and towns in cold areas through actual investigation,which mainly contains the construction form of residential building of villages and towns,the current status of the enclosure structure,the heating method in winter,the heating habits of residents,and the influence analysis of heating factors.At the same time,the load characteristics of the current rural power grid are summarized,and the thermal storage electric heating is proposed from the perspective of the user side and the power grid side.Secondly,according to the survey results,73.73% of households consider heating costs first,followed by indoor comfort(56.68%).Therefore,this paper selects economy and comfort as the indicators of the suitability model of thermal storage electric heating and establishes the suitability model of thermal storage electric heating using analytic hierarchy process and grey whitening weight cluster evaluation method.Through weight calculation,the economic efficiency of heating method is far greater than its comfort for residents,and when the economic index reaches the suitability range,the comfort index has no effect on the overall result.Therefore,this paper uses the Dest simulation software to obtain the thermal load characteristics of typical villages and towns in different regions based on the characteristics of the villages and towns obtained through the investigation,and analyzes the energy cost of the typical villages and towns in combination with the regional electricity price policy,and this paper evaluates the economic suitability of thermal storage electric heating and obtains the suitable range of thermal storage electric heating in villages and towns in cold areas.The results show that most areas are suitable for the use of thermal storage electric heating,but it is not suitable for areas with higher latitude and higher terrain,such as Datong,Chengde,and Zhangjiakou.The evaluation index for the adaptability of thermal storage electric heating is affected by many factors.This article discusses and analyzes the four aspects of building heating heat load,timeof-use electricity price,heating coefficient of air conditioning,and operation mode of thermal storage electric heater,which obtains the conditions that the above four factors should meet when the economic suitability of regenerative electric heating is required.Finally,the regenerative electric heating suitability model which has been established is verified on the spot.Through experiments,the economic and comfort index results of thermal storage electric heating are obtained: the regenerative electric heater in this area can save 580 yuan compared with air conditioning throughout the heating season,and the economic index is 0.63.At the same time,the thermal storage electric heating room owns average temperature distribution and suitable wet environment,whose TSV value is-0.267.Substituting the suitability model of regenerative electric heating,the K value of the suitability evaluation of the thermal storage electric heating in this area is 7,which shows that the villages and towns in this area are suitable for the thermal storage electric heating,verifing the accuracy of the suitability model of regenerative electric heating.
