Cycloid gear is the core part of industrial robot cycloid reducer.In order to overcome the influence of error and thermal deformation,the tooth profile of cycloid gear must be modified,which determines the bearing capacity and transmission precision of the reducer to a great extent.Due to the limitation of the previous grinding method of cycloidal gear,the traditional modification method is based on the machining method of workpiece planetary motion.The problems of the modified cycloidal gear are not conjugate meshing with the needle teeth,poor bearing capacity and low transmission accuracy.With the development of continuous generation grinding technology in China,it is possible to form high-precision sand modification profile,which provides a new direction for the research of cycloidal gear modification method.In order to improve the bearing capacity and transmission accuracy of cycloid gear,a segmental modification design method of cycloid tooth profile is proposed in this paper,and then the continuous development grinding method is studied.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1)To solve the problems of poor bearing capacity and low transmission accuracy of the modified cycloid gear in China,a segmental modification design method for cycloid gear was proposed.Based on the cycloidal forming principle,the geometric characteristics of the tooth profile curve were analyzed,and the distribution curve of the transmission pressure angle between cycloidal gear and pin teeth was calculated,and the cycloidal tooth profile was segmented.According to the design deviation,maximum contact deformation Angle and minimum oil film thickness,the angle modification amount of working section was determined,and according to the angle modification tooth profile and quartic curve,the mathematical model of segmental modification cycloid tooth profile was constructed.(2)In order to verify the superiority of the segmental modification method,the finite element analysis model of cycloid reducer is established,and the comparison simulation of segmental modification cycloid gear is carried out.The meshing characteristics of cycloid gear and pin teeth were comprehensively analyzed,and the key component models of cycloid reducer were built by SolidWorks software,and then imported into the finite element software ABAQUS.Under the same working condition,the cycloid gear of the segmental modification method and the "negative equidistance + positive shift distance" modification method were compared and simulated.(3)In view of the problem that the segmentally modified cycloid gear cannot be machined with the existing grinding scheme,the continuous generation grinding method of segmentally modified cycloid gear was studied.The contour equation of cycloid worm sand was deduced according to the spatial meshing position relationship between cycloid gear and worm grinding wheel,and the corresponding dressing scheme of diamond roller was designed.Based on the actual processing and application of continuous generation gear grinding in gear grinding machine,the technological process of continuous generation grinding with segmental modification of cycloid gear is designed,which provides a reference for the development of cycloid gear grinding function of worm wheel gear grinding machine.(4)In order to verify the feasibility of the segmental modification cycloid gear processing method for continuous generation grinding,the SolidWorks three-dimensional model of worm wheel gear grinding machine was established,and the Vericut machining simulation was carried out for the continuous generation grinding of piece-modified cycloid gear.According to the actual processing condition of gear grinding,the continuous development grinding function module of segmental modified cycloid gear was developed under the environment of SINUMERIK 840 Dsl numerical control system,and it was integrated into the gear grinding machine system of worm wheel,which laid the foundation for the engineering application of segmental modified cycloid gear.
