Component Quality Problem Identification And Collaborative Improvement Strategy In Automotive Manufacturing Enterprises: From Supply Chain Perspective

Automobile manufacturing is complicated system engineering,especially for automobile parts manufacturing enterprises as an important bridge between OEMs and Raw Material suppliers.Any quality issues which happened in certain process and link will affect common interests of the whole supply chain.The supply chain oriented quality management broadens the scope from a single enterprise to multiple enterprises,and emphasizes cooperation and continuous improvement among enterprises.Therefore,each link and process of supply chain under control is the primary task for every enterprise.This paper briefly introduces related theory of supply chain and quality management,the concepts and methods.After reviewing basis of relevant theory,we take R Company as example to analyze current status of it and their supplier management condition,questions and root causes.At the same time,the company existing problems of quality management in supply chain will be classified and it will preliminarily explore cause of quality issues and emphasize importance of supply chain collaboration in parts of quality management.Finally,we put forward structured improvement strategy with quality issues management in automobile manufacturing enterprises based on perspective of supply chain collaboration.
