| After the great turning point of market-oriented reform,the construction technology,speed and quality of residential areas in China have been greatly improved.However,in the process of rapid development,there are not only a lot of problems left behind,but also new demands brought about by the change of people’s lifestyle and habits.Residents’ consideration of housing quality is no longer limited to the private residential part,but also extends to the public space part of the residential area.Whether the green landscape is rich,whether the public facilities are complete,and whether the living environment is comfortable are all included in the residents’ evaluation of the residential area.As an important part of the residential area,public space provides residents with a wealth of traffic,communication and activity space.It shoulders the important task of meeting the needs of residents’ various public life.It is a high concentration of public resources in the residential area,and also an important evaluation basis for the vitality of the residential area and the quality of the living environment.Paying attention to and meeting the various needs of residents makes the construction content of residential area more complex and refined than in the past.The good and bad are often mixed in the construction process.In the process of use,the needs of residents will continue to change,which will also lead to the decline of vitality of space and facilities after a period of time.The existing old residential area contains rich urban public resources,and its operation vitality is closely related to the overall development of the city.Therefore,it is of great significance to analyze the vitality of the public space in the residential area,implement the use of the public space in the residential area,and put forward the optimization strategy for improvement after finding the problems,so as to keep the healthy and harmonious operation of the residential area for social harmony and sustainable development.On the basis of summarizing the existing research results,this paper carries out field investigation and image collection on four representative residential areas in Urumqi,and compares the similarities and differences between them in combination with many influencing factors such as people’s activity habits and rules,weather conditions at that time and local climate characteristics,This paper analyzes the change law of space vitality in the use process of indoor and outdoor public space in some local residential areas.According to the analysis conclusion,by means of enriching space types,making full use of natural conditions,improving the efficiency of space utilization,judging the development trend,and paying attention to humanization,the residential area can have a good ability to meet the needs of residents in the pre construction stage,so that it can have the pre conditions of full vitality and full use of space resources after completion.For the existing community,through long-term follow-up attention,dynamic management and maintenance,integrated into the urban environment and other ways to find out the problems existing in the public space of the residential area as soon as possible and correct them in time,with the efficient operation of the residential area as the starting point,integrated into the overall sustainable development of the city.The results of this paper are universal to Urumqi and other areas with similar geographical and climatic characteristics.It is hoped that the results can provide reference for the construction and reconstruction of residential areas in these areas,and reduce the waste of natural resources and social resources in the public space of low vitality residential areas. |
