Research On The Spatial Development Types Of Inter-city Border Towns In Guangdong Province

The boundary is an important factor affecting the balanced development of the region.Whether in developed or underdeveloped regions,there are problems of uneven development in the process of economic development.As the largest developing country in the world and the second-largest economy in the world,China has problems in the economic development of various regions in China,especially the uneven development of regions.There may be significant economic development differences in China’s coastal,inland regions,the three major zones,between provinces,within provinces,between cities,and within cities.Due to the significant heterogeneity in the degree of development,culture,transportation,and location between cities,but due to the microscopic nature of the inter-city boundary,there is homogeneity with the neighboring units,compared to the inter-provincial and national boundaries.,The spatial types of the development of inter-city border regions are more complex and diverse.Therefore,it is meaningful to study the types of inter-city border towns as research areas in this paper.In this paper,the inter-city border towns in Guangdong Province with large internal development differences are taken as the center.Starting from empirical analysis,this paper analyzes the spatial pattern,types and causes of the development of inter-city border towns in Guangdong Province,and provides necessary for the coordinated development of inter-city in Guangdong The theoretical basis is to promote the construction of first-class bay areas and world-class urban agglomerations in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.First of all,this article summarizes the related academic achievements of domestic and foreign border research,domestic town development,and characteristic town development,and clarifies the research object,research method and research content of this article.Secondly,it analyzes the basic characteristics of the development of intercity border towns and the spatial structure of each dimension.This paper analyzes the development characteristics of border towns from six aspects of traffic development,Town Street characteristics,economic development,social development,ecological background resources and population scale.Through factor analysis,five development dimensions that affect the development of inter-city border towns are obtained.It includes public service facilities and tourism resources(factor 1),enterprise and population cluster(factor 2),ecological background resources(factor 3),marginal hardship(factor 4)and people’s living standard(factor 5).The spatial distribution characteristics of these five factors are spatial agglomeration.Among them,the agglomeration area of factor 1is the Pearl River Delta,and decreases to the periphery of the Pearl River Delta;The spatial agglomeration of factor 2 and factor 4 tends to the junction of Guangzhou and Foshan,the junction of Dongguan and Shenzhen,the junction of Chaoshan and Zhanmao;The spatial agglomeration trend of factor 3 is the Pearl River delta plain area,Chaoshan Jiedong area and Zhanmao junction area;Factor 5 is mainly concentrated in the inter-city boundary of the Pearl River Delta.By using the method of group analysis,this paper analyzes the spatial types of the development of inter-city border towns and analyzes the causes of their types.Results seven development types of border towns were obtained,including 16 high living standard towns.Public service facilities were related to tourism resources and people’s living standards;There are 32 strong towns with industry and population agglomeration,which are related to the cluster factors of enterprises and population;There are 17 strong towns with industry and public service supporting development,which are mainly related to public service facilities and tourism resources,and cluster factors of enterprises and population;There are 72 towns in the lag type of public service,which are mainly related to ecological background resources and people’s living standards;These four types of towns and streets are mainly distributed at the junction of cities in the hinterland of the Pearl River Delta.Generally speaking,there are 257 towns of ecological development type,which are mainly related to the factors of ecological background resources.Generally speaking,there are 92 towns of ecological and tourism development type,which are mainly related to the factors of public service facilities,tourism resources and ecological background resources;There are 78 towns with weak development in marginal mountainous areas,which contain more poverty-stricken villages.These towns are mainly distributed in Maoyang,the border of Shaoguan and Qingyuan in northern Guangdong,and the border of Heyuan City in eastern Guangdong.It also analyzes the causes of the development types of border towns in Guangdong Province from the aspects of natural resource location,economic and industrial structure,historical basis,government policy orientation and cultural differences.Finally,I summarize the full text and put forward countermeasures to promote the development of inter-city borders,so as to formulate guidelines and policy measures for the development of cities and towns in border areas to provide scientific support.
