In recent years,the popularity of LED lighting and the growth of people’s demand for lighting design have promoted increasingly rich lighting effects.However,ordinary people still lack the knowledge of lighting,which makes it extremely difficult for lighting designers to communicate with owners.The problem of abstract expression in communication leads to unclear communication of requirements and design concepts,and the plan cannot be settled quickly,which delays the progress of the project and harms the interests of both parties.In order to improve the communication problems between lighting designers and stakeholders in lighting design projects,this project envisages the application of augmented reality technology in lighting design projects,using the technology’s real-time rendering,no need to build scenes,dynamic browsing,and scene fusion.Provide concrete lighting effect simulation for early communication to improve communication efficiency.In order to make the augmented reality technology integrated into the lighting design project have a practical solution,this subject has carried out the following research:Using interview method,observation method and questionnaire method,study the process of lighting design project and designer behavior,obtain key user behaviors,analyze user behavior characteristics,and build character models.Create scenario stories based on key behaviors and character models,and build system function models and system constitutions based on scenario stories to design the functions that the system needs and the relationship between stakeholders.Competitive products of the system are collected,analyzed by SWOT method,and 3system design strategies are summarized.According to the strategy,interaction design principles,visual design specifications and data type specifications are designed.In order to achieve a design strategy with low consumption and good visual effects,the principle of visualization of lighting effects based on mobile augmented reality is studied,and the principle of plane superposition is designed,and it is used to simulate the outline of the light spot,light intensity,light color,and the effect of the light on the ambient light.The algorithm of the influence is realized in the desktop computer through the Unity game engine to realize the visualization of the lighting effect.Based on the system function model,interaction design principles,visual design specifications,data type specifications,and the principle of lighting effect visualization based on the plane superposition method,this paper finally developed a mobile terminal augmented reality lighting effect simulation system suitable for lighting design projects.The system can help lighting designers and stakeholders express concrete lighting effects in project communication,enable communication to be carried out on the basis of concrete images,improve communication efficiency,and provide convenience for conceptual scheme production and further design of lighting fixtures.
