In recent years,in order to solve the problem of urban rainwater resources,sponge city in Xi ’an has been continuously constructed and developed.Xi Xian New Area,as the first batch of sponge city pilot,has certain reference value for the study of sponge city in Xi ’an,but it also has some problems in specific practice.Mainly through the sponge construction of city "infiltration,hysteresis,storage,net,with," and other technical measures to complete,at present,most sponge in xian city green space construction mainly rain garden,plant Cao Gou facilities such as low impact development technology is given priority to,main consideration of rainwater infiltration,storage and purification,including plant landscape design is given priority to with purification,aesthetic function;But for the rest of the green space besides low impact development facilities too little attention,only considering the green space in the infiltration of rain and emissions,often one of the plant landscape design in aesthetics,space,etc.,as the key ignored the retention effect of plants for the rain,and this part of the green land area occupies a larger proportion in sponge in the construction of urban green space,therefore,In this paper,plant landscape design in other parts of sponge city green space except for low-impact development facilities is taken as the focus.Plant aesthetics and space design are optimized while strengthening the retention effect of plants,so as to improve the overall efficiency of sponge city green space and make sponge city green space play a better role.Due to urban green space actual sponge mostly used in residential area,schools,parks and other types of green space,therefore,based on the medium and small scale sponge urban green space as a breakthrough point,to study plant retention effect of rain water and plant individual rainwater retaining capacity,and the sponge urban green space is suitable for plant species in xi ’an region was summarized.Sponge in the urban green space plant canopy interception ability and the monomer of rainwater intercept performance,flat planting density and vertical structure of plants,plant monomer intercept ability of higher plant species,increase the density of plants,optimizing the structure of the front elevation of the plant landscape planting is to improve the field rainwater retaining capacity of the three methods.In order to maximize the benefits of plants,the plant canopy interception design,plant space design and plant ornamental design should be considered comprehensively in the allocation of sponge city plants.In the practice part of this paper,Shaanxi International Business College is taken as a case,combined with the construction method of plant landscape in this paper,to optimize the design of different types of small and medium-sized greenbelt plant landscape.This article with a sponge city concept and cross of plant landscape design background,the small and medium scale sponge in the urban green space plant landscape design method to optimize,on this basis,efforts to improve the overall green space of rain water application efficiency and landscape value,in order to sponge city under the guide of plant landscape design to provide theoretical and practical reference,contributing to sponge on the development of city construction in our country.
