Study On The Design Of The Landscape Space Suitable For The Aged Apartment

As a newly emerging old-age care facility,the apartment for the elderly can not only provide independent living modules,but also provide better services and care for the elderly,which meets the current needs of old-age care.However,the traditional apartment for the aged still has some problems,such as old facilities,unreasonable distribution of single space activities,uneven quality of landscape environment and so on.Therefore,the main purpose of this paper is how to design landscape space according to the unique characteristics of the elderly,meet the requirements of the modern elderly for living environment,and explore a suitable design method of landscape space for the elderly apartment in Fuping County.This paper adopts the method of combining theoretical research with field research.Firstly,it summarizes the domestic and foreign achievements in theoretical research,policy promotion,barrier-free design and landscape design of the apartment for the elderly,and puts forward the caring design guided by the needs of the elderly group.Secondly,taking the elderly as the research object,starting from the landscape design of the apartment for the elderly,this paper clarifies the application of relevant concepts and design theories of the apartment for the elderly,analyzes the characteristics of physiology,psychology,behavior and activities,and summarizes the special needs of the elderly.Based on the needs of three apartments for the elderly through field research,analysis,from which can be used for reference points and existing problems,summed up the elderly apartment landscape space design common characteristics and personality characteristics;Taking the needs of the elderly as the starting point,combined with the experience and characteristics summarized above and the problems to be solved,this paper puts forward specific design strategies and research on the design methods suitable for aging of landscape elements.Finally,based on the above research on design strategies and methods,landscape design practice is carried out for the apartment for the elderly in Fuping County,and the research results are demonstrated to create a more suitable landscape environment for the elderly.Through the study,it is concluded that the diversity of space should be increased while satisfying the spatial integrity,and the use function should take precedence over the form.The ornamental and interactive nature of space can be enriched by adding water landscape.The road should be fun combined with convenience,the site should be smooth without concave and convex,and the pavement materials with good water permeability,anti-slip and environmental protection should be selected to ensure the safety of the elderly’s activities and walking.The number of facilities in the venue should meet the needs of personnel,and the size should be based on the ergonomics of the elderly.The combination of plants should not only ensure the beauty,but also combine with rehabilitation and health preservation,so as to provide some reference value for the follow-up research.
