| Under the premise of rapid urbanization and motorization, and our country is also facing a severe aging situation.Compared with the pre vious generation of elderly people,it is becoming more and more common for the elderly to cho ose private cars, and their travel behavior has quietly changed. With the advancement of society and the improvement of cultural level, the elderly is no less interested in new things than the young.Ordinary elderly cars cannot meet the needs of some elderly users, and there are also great differences between the elderly and the young in physiology and cognition. However, the design of the automobile central control system of mainstream cars mainly considers the use experience of young people, which makes it more difficult to operate while driving. This dissertation will study the physical and psychological characteristics of elderly drivers and refine the driving characteristics of elderly drivers.Based on this research and analysis of the design elements of the automobile central control system the aim is to establish the principles and strategies of the automobile central control system that is suitable for the elderly.Thereby,to optimize the design of the central control system to make it more in line with the characteristics of elderly drivers.Firstly, this dissertation gives a brief overview of the design status of the car center control system and the driving situation of the elderly drivers, then summarizes the design of the center control system according to the five elements of user experience, and carries out the related research on the design of the center control system from three aspects of structure, interaction and visual and auditory. The structure includes a combination design of physical buttons, air conditioning, and central control screen;visual elements include icons, text, colors, and materials;and then the characteristics and the problems faced by elderly drivers are summarized from the two perspectives of physiological problems and psychological cognition of elderly drivers.Based on this,to analyzes the feature preferences of elderly drivers and their influence generated from the duration of driving,to clarify the direction and ideas for follow-up research.Secondly, qualitative research is carried out on the characteristics of elderly drivers in the central control system of the car.Using the research methods of questionnaire survey, behavior observation and user interviews, the structure layout, interface layout, navigation mode, icons, colors and materials of the target users of 55-65 years old are investigated. The preferences of the elderly driver are summarized and the influence of the characteristics of the elderly driver is analyzed on the design elements of the automotive central control system. Then,by analyzing the correlation between the characteristics of the elderly drivers and the design elements, the design principles of the automobile central control system based on the characteristics of the elderly drivers are summarized, and the design strategy is proposed.Use this as a design method to optimize the structure layout, physical buttons, interface layout, icon design, and material selection in the automotive central control system. Finally, use the evaluation system of the satisfaction survey to test the usability of the design practice and summarize other shortcomings and user needs.Based on the survey data, this dissertation focuses on the mapping relationship between the characteristics of elderly drivers and the design elements of the car central control system, and constructs the design principles and strategies of the car central control system based on the characteristics of the elderly drivers, which effectively improves the operation of the elderly drivers. The usability of the automotive central control systems brings a comfortable and pleasant experience to it.The research results will provide theoretical and methodological support for the design of automotive central control systems that are in line with the characteristics of elderly drivers, provide new guidance for the design of elderly suitability of the automotive central control systems, and further improve the quality of elderly travel care. |
