| With the improvement of life’s quality,the defects of thermal environment of traditional buildings in northern Guangxi are gradually revealed,and the contradiction between them is increasingly intensified,which triggers a series of unscientific reconstruction.The shape and structure of traditional dwellings deviate from the original intention and national cultures.For the purposes of quality improvement and culture protection,field measurements were carried out in a brick-timber building and two spaces(Huotang,Bedroom)of a semi-stilt building.Based on the data,the formation and factors of buildings’ thermal environment were analyzed,and then the retrofitting schemes were put forward.With the help of DesignBuilder software and APMV model,the annual thermal environment situation of original buildings and retrofitted buildings was simulated and evaluated.On the basis of analysis,this paper puts forward an optimization design system for improving the thermal environment of traditional dwellings in northern Guangxi,which provides reference for optimization and regeneration design of existing traditional dwellings,and the construction of new countryside in northern Guangxi.The results show that the average indoor temperature of the research objects is lower than 15℃,and the temperature difference between indoor and outdoor air is less than 1℃.The indoor and outdoor temperature fluctuations of the brick-timber building,Huotang and Bedroom are 14.4℃,3.4℃ and 3.9℃,respectively,which indicates the indoor thermal stability of the brick-timber building is better than that of the semi-stilt building.The average relative humidity of brick-timber buildings is about 70%,and that of semi-stilt buildings is82%~85%.The airtightness,moisture insulation and ventilation habit of these buildings are the major elements which lead to the high indoor humidity.The velocity is lower than 0.1m/s,which attribute to the mountain as a barrier weakens the prevailing invasion in winter,so the indoor air velocity in winter is low and stable.With the help of DesignBuilder and APMV evaluation model,the annual thermal environment conditions of buildings are analyzed.The order of the annual thermal environmental quality of the measured spaces is as follows: Huotang > the brick-timber building > the Bedroom.With the respect of seasonal thermal environment,there is the same law between the brick-timber building and the Bedroom: summer > transition season >winter;the order of Huotang is: transition season > winter > summer.The stable heat source in the room is the main reason for the seasonal difference of thermal environment between Huotang and other rooms.Based on the previous analysis,the thermal environment optimization strategies are put forward.It is found that after the retrofit,the annual thermal environment time of Grade I of the brick-timber building,Huotang and the Bedroom increases by 4.7%,2.7% and 1.6%respectively;while the Grade III decreases by 4.3%,0.8% and 1.1%.The quality of thermal environment has been improved,but the effect is not obvious.It is found that the performance and airtightness of envelope are the main factors affecting the thermal environment level of traditional buildings in northern Guangxi,but the orientation has a slight influence on improving the thermal environment of traditional buildings. |
