Color coding has a very important influence on the HUD interface design.The dynamic presentation of complex colors in a vibrating environment,as well as the requirement for pilots to respond quickly in combat,make the color study of HUD interface information of great practical significance.At present,there is not much research on the color level of HUD information display in dynamic environments.Through color coding,reducing the error rate of pilots’ visual recognition,improving flight safety performance are important issues in optimizing the ergonomics of the HUD interface.Therefore,the research content of this article mainly includes the following aspects:First,the flight environment and mission information are analyzed,.Based on the research of relevant literature at home and abroad,the character coding design and layout design of HUD interface information are completed,and the hierarchical division of HUD interface information is obtained.In the aspect of color design,the foreground and background colors of HUD are studied through the research of color design theory,including the three elements of color and the relationship between vision and color.Secondly,according to the hierarchical division of information and the visual perception layering effect of color,the contrast sensitivity experiment method is used to study the ergonomics of HUD color perception.By measuring the contrast sensitivity for recognition performance analysis,the optimal value of information color in day and night environment is obtained,and the color classification of HUD interface information is set;in order to make HUD characters clear and distinguishable,the color contrast of foreground / background should be greater than 3:1,and the brightness contrast should be greater than 1:2.Finally,considering the influence of vibration factors,in order to obtain a better reading experience and improve character recognition,the optimal setting of the color and line width of different levels of information on the HUD interface under the vibration environment was measured by visual simulation experiment,to ensure the best color visual perception in the flight driving environment.A basis for the color hierarchy of HUD interface under complex dynamic environment is provided.
