| The Internet era has pushed human mindset to a new height, and there will be more conflicts between machines, technology and users in the future. In the field of product design, the rise of the silver-haired economy has brought the needs of the elderly into the public eye. When faced with the update of iteratively fast smart products, their previous experience and stored knowledge are not enough to smoothly operate such devices. Therefore, the usability research and usability evaluation of interactive products centered on the needs of target users is an important issue.Starting from the needs of elderly users, this topic takes household appliances products as the research object, through the comparative analysis of the availability theory, refines the elements of availability in the design and combines semantic theory to build based on availability and semantics Theoretical product design process.Combining multi-dimensional scaling(MDS),K-means clustering, and analytic hierarchy and other availability evaluation methods to build product architecture at the product conceptual design stage, the main research contents are as follows:1.Research and application relationship between availability and semantic theory in product design.First,it summarizes the research content of the availability theory and sorts out the availability factors applied in product design.Secondly, the relationship between semantics and availability theory is analyzed and compared, and the application level of the two in design is obtained, and the mapping relationship is established to build a product design process based on the two.2.The availability of elements in the product conceptual design process is integrated into key process studies and the acquisition of semantic design elements.First, through literature research,it is concluded that the concept of availability is a tool that helps to understand the relationship between technical functions and user tasks. The "function-task design matrix(FTIM)" is introduced to link technical functions with user tasks.Linking up and capturing relevant functional level requirements during the entire product system generation process can help designers determine the necessary product attributes to optimize the ease with which users perform product functions.3.Research on product design based on the association of availability and semantic theory.Integrate the above design process, key processes and design elements to form a complete set of product design concept design methods.Including, requirement collection, requirement classification, function model analysis,function-task interaction matrix, availability level analysis, target semantic acquisition, and availability capability evaluation.4.Design and practice of household appliances for the elderly.Based on the constructed product concept design process framework, the analysis of the availability of household appliances for the elderly, the analysis of user needs, the construction of the availability interaction matrix and the evaluation of the availability capability are carried out to verify the effectiveness and feasibility of the method. |
