| A hundred years of life,standing in kindergarten.The rapid development of society has made the national demand for compound innovative talents increasing.The STEAM education has the characteristics of cultivating students’ innovative ability and has been widely promoted in European and American countries.As early childhood education is the starting point of education,STEAM education in this period can better lay the foundation for the development of innovative talents.Create a fun and pleasant indoor environment based on STEAM education concept,provide enough independent space for children,and help cultivate children’s ability of independent learning and innovative exploration.Therefore,it is of great significance to study STEAM education concept combined with children’s interior space design.This paper consists of six parts: Part I: a brief overview of the concept and development of STEAM education concept and then a summary of the domestic and foreign related theoretical research and research methods.Part II: focus on introducing the relevant theories of STEAM education and provide a corresponding overview of the characteristics and space requirements of early childhood education,which lays the foundation for subsequent analysis.Part III: Integrate the STEAM education mode with the spatial characteristics of kindergarten,explore the needs of the STEAM perspective for the indoor space of kindergarten,and put forward the corresponding optimization design principles and methods.Part IV: Analysis of domestic and foreign children’s indoor excellent design cases,combined with field research and questionnaire analysis,summarizes the deficiencies in the indoor environment design of kindergarten in Hefei.Part V: Combine with the contents of the Part III and Part IV,the interior space is designed and analyzed based on the optimized plane layout structure of Hefei Xinming Kindergarten.The sixth part: summarize the emphases and limitations of this paper.To sum up,the research of this article mainly starts from the perspective of STEAM education theory.The research holds that interior indoor space design for infants requires advanced educational concepts to guide which takes the educational concept as the basis for the design of infants’ interior space.It enriches the design strategies of STEAM education theory corresponding to the interior space,and provides a new direction for the interior design of our kindergartens.It lays the foundation for children’s innovative exploration and provides a promotional significance for the development of young children. |
