| With the development of the economy,the rapid increase in car ownership,the issue of braking safety has become particularly important.During the braking process,the particles generated by the wear of the traditional brake pads can be harmful to the environment and the human body.Compared with traditional brake pads,ceramic brake pads have complex formulas and expensive raw materials.These problems have grown up to become a stumbling block to their progress.Basalt fiber is on the brink of carbon fiber in terms of friction and wear performance and thermal stability,and is low in price.It can be utilized to replace carbon fiber in ceramic brake friction pads,which can reduce the cost of brake friction pads;basalt fiber is a high-strength green fiber,will not pollute the environment during use.The disadvantage of basalt fiber is just not easy to bond with phenolic resin when preparing friction plate.In view of the above problems,the main research contents of this paper are as follows:The effects of different formulations on the bonding of modified basalt fiber and resin,the effects of different processes on the bonding of modified basalt fiber and resin,and the experiment of replacing carbon fiber with modified basalt fiber are studied.The four types of fibers selected in the experiment were modified basalt fiber,aramid fiber,sepiolite fiber,and carbon fiber.The selected adhesive was 8wt.% cashew nut shell liquid phenolic resin.Data analysis methods are range analysis method,regression equation of Spss software and data fitting of Matlab software.The research results show that when the modified basalt fiber content is 4wt.%,the aramid fiber is 2wt.%,and the sepiolite fiber is 3wt.%,the friction and wear performance is balanced,the noise test is good,and the shear resistance is slightly poor.The preparation process parameters(pressing temperature,pressing pressure,holding time,heat treatment time)are studied above.The best process parameters are pressing temperature 170℃,pressing pressure 35 MPa,holding pressure time 7.5min,heat treatment time 6h.Researched on basalt instead of carbon fiber to prepare brake friction linings.The modified basalt fiber and carbon fiber are grouped in proportions,and their mechanical properties,thermal stability of friction coefficient and wear rate are tested.The research results show that a reasonable increase in the content of modified basalt fiber can reduce the hardness of the friction plate,and the phase of modified basalt fiber It has better friction coefficient and thermal stability than carbon fiber.Although the wear rate is slightly greater than that of carbon fiber,there is little difference in wear rate above300°C.The best ratio of modified basalt fiber to carbon fiber is 3:1,which improves braking.Economical friction plate. |
