Research On Landscape Change And Renewal Design Of Xi’an Lianhu Park From The Perspective Of History And Culture

Historical parks are very characteristic garden spaces in cities.They were born in the collision and integration of modern western and eastern design concepts and cultures.They have witnessed the development of social politics,economy and culture,and are of great significance for shaping a beautiful living environment and city image.However,the lack of recognition of the value of such historical parks and the high intensity development of urban construction at present weaken the authenticity and integrity of the regional characteristics of historical and cultural heritages in parks in the process of construction changes.Based on the xi ’an historic park as the research scope,to Xi’an Lianhu Park for the specific case study,through literature research in the field research method of subject crossing method and other research of Xi’an Lianhu Park landscape historical vicissitude process,the design of the corresponding adjustment was made to provide reference for similar historical park update design on this basis to reposition.Firstly,in this paper the existing problems in the current urban historical park renewal design were analyzed and the purpose and significance of the research were put forward.Secondly,the historical park protection laws and regulations and park renewal related theories were studied to lay a theoretical foundation for the design practice.Thirdly,the development process of modern urban parks in China was studied,and analyzed the basis of selecting Xi’an Lianhu Park as a case.Finally,through the study of historical documents and drawings and field research,the historical change characteristics of Lianhu Park in Xi ’an since the reform and opening up in the early period of Ming and Qing Dynasties and the Republic of China in the21 st century were explored,and the landmark landscape of continuity and disappearance were analyzed.The research concluded that the royal palace garden of the Ming Dynasty laid the natural landscape pattern,the public garden of the Qing Dynasty took the embryonic form of urban park,the western garden style was added in the Republic of China,the park was constructed in combination with the nursery in the early period of the founding of the New China,the park returned to the Chinese classical garden style after the reform and opening-up,and the park was opened in the 21 st century.The park has been renovated many times in the historical changes,and has produced the spiritual and cultural core of the Chinese classical garden culture,lotus culture and red culture.However,the current landscape status does not reflect the historical and cultural deposits that Xi ’an Lianhu Park should have.Based on the above research results,this paper carries out the renewal design of Lianhu Park in Xi ’an from various aspects,in order to reproduce its historical and cultural characteristics.Finally,the enlightenment of this research on the protection and renewal design of the same type of historical parks in Xi ’an was discussed.
