| China has the largest number of blind people in the world,but the relevant product design is very limited.Most of the products are auxiliary products such as blind sticks,readers and so on,which cannot meet the basic life needs of visually impaired users.They are passively accepting the inconvenience brought by the existing products.Therefore,it is the responsibility and obligation of our designers to design useful,easy-to-use and universal daily supplies for the visually impaired users.In the emotional era of the 21st century,the demand for product experience is no longer limited to the single visual sensory stimulation,but to seek the interactive experience form of multi-sensory interaction such as touch and hearing.For the visually impaired group,the inconvenience caused by the defects of visual senses requires the compensation of other sensory channels such as touch and hearing to realize the information reception and transmission with the outside world.Therefore,it is very necessary to explore the design method system of visually impaired products based on the application of sensory perception in the field of design.In this paper,the author starts with the study of visually impaired users,and through the understanding of the concept of the visually impaired,it is clear that the population of the subject is the blind and the amblyopia.In the form of in-depth interview,field observation and survey questionnaire,the physiological,psychological,perceived behavior and product needs of visually impaired users are analyzed,and the humanized design trend of visually impaired products is summarized.Secondly,on the basis of the concept analysis of sense perception,from analyzes the relationship between perceptual and visually impaired product design,visually impaired cognitive interaction between users and products,and perceptions of visually impaired the value orientation of product design three aspects analyze the feasibility of the visually impaired sense perception in the design of product application,and combining the visually impaired the existing product design case,touch from auditory perception,perception and olfactory perception,perceptual channel for compensatory design analysis.Furthermore,through the research of the previous two parts,the perceptual design principles of visually impaired products are proposed and a design system of visually impaired products with Tactile perception of product information and immediate feedback as the core is constructed.Finally,taking the design of the socket for visually impaired users as an example,the feasibility of the conclusion is verified in practice.By studying the cognitive style of the visually impaired group to the product and using the application concept of sensory perception in the field of design,it provides more possibilities for the design of visually impaired products,promotes the interaction and communication between products and visually impaired users,creates a new dialogue mechanism,brings psychological comfort and satisfaction to them,and embodies humanized design. |
