Research On Optimization Design Of Public Space In Xi’an Resettlement Community From The Perspective Of Place Spirit

With the acceleration of urbanization process and the continuous expansion of urban scale,the rural areas in the suburbs of the city are centrally resettled after the completion of the transition of Urban Village.However,the residential developers often only consider the "housing" problem of the resettled residents,and do not consider the problems of remolding the residents’ emotional identity to the new residential areas and extending the regional context.Residential public space is not only a stage for residents’ daily life,neighborhood communication,leisure and entertainment,but also an important carrier for realizing the pattern of co-construction,co-governance and sharing.At present,in the planning and design of the resettlement community,the construction of public space is not paid enough attention,and there are some problems,such as formalization,single function,lack of sense of place and lack of regional context.These problems also lead to the rupture of the traditional neighborhood communication mode,the lack of community cohesion,and the difficulty of residents’ psychological identification and belonging to the resettlement community.Based on the theory of place spirit,this paper takes the public space of Xi’an resettlement community as the object of study,and discusses how to create a public space with place spirit.This paper first combs and expounds the place spirit theory and Yang Gail’s communication and space theory to lay a theoretical foundation for the optimization design of residential public space,and expounds the connotation characteristics of public space from the perspective of place spirit;secondly,it carries out field research on the public space of resettlement community in the main urban area of Xi’an,and analyzes the types and functional composition of public space Based on the survey and interview,combined with the psychological and behavioral characteristics of the users,this paper analyzes the demands of the behavior subject for the public space,summarizes the current situation and problems of the public space in the resettlement community,and makes an in-depth analysis of the causes of the problems;At the same time,this paper selects the relevant cases at home and abroad for comparative study to obtain the optimization ideas of public space,and further analyzes the factors that affect the spiritual construction of public space in resettlement community;Finally,based on the theory of place spirit,this paper puts forward the optimization strategy of public space in Xi’an resettlement community from the layout system of public space,the promotion of space vitality,the reconstruction of "place—memory",the continuation of regional context and the optimization of management system It is applied in the optimization design of public space.In this paper,the spirit of place as the theoretical basis to create public space for resettlement community,aims to deeply understand the space environment and image’s effect on people’s psychological feelings,and on this basis,puts forward optimization strategies to activate the vitality of the public space of the resettlement community,promote the residents to better carry out their daily activities,and reconstruct the "sense of identity" and "sense of belonging" to the community ”.Under the background of social governance pattern of co-construction,co-governance and sharing,the research on the optimization of public space in resettlement community based on the theory of place spirit will have certain practical value.
